I have seen a lot in the polictical questions, in the immigration catagory the statement made "You are an immigrant unless you are Native American in the United States of America" I'm curious what have you learned about our history to make you think that statement is accurate.
This is not a debate about whether it's an accurate statement or not. I know it's not accurate and I know why, I'm curious as to the people making the statement or agreeing with the statement, what have they learned about the United States of America's history to think it is accurate. I'm not judging anybody by what they say, I'm just curious about what you learned about the subject.

Opinion: I think anyone who is a legal citizen is an American, if you were born here, I suppose that makes you a native American citizen. (what's on your birth certificate, and do you have a social security card)? We all have roots outside the US except for Native Americans Indians. But those who come here and become citizens should have full rights and privileges, those who are illegal are what we now seem to be saying are "immigrants." we all were at one time or another in our family history, or we are a mix. Main thing is-do it legally, the right way. J in MBSC

The native Americans immigrated here as well. If you want to go that far back, the mexicans have no rights in Mexico. They immigrated from Spain. It's just an attempt to stir up dust and confuse the issue.

I don't think you're going to get any good answers. The people who say this don't seem to understand anything except for what they want. I'd like them to explain how a native born citizen (of native born citizens) is an immigrant but an anchor baby is a citizen. See how illogical their thinking can be?

i'm nonetheless attempting to determine of why did the U. S. enable those human beings to return here interior the 1st place? particularly the Black Immigrants who cover in the back of the Hispanic immigrants. those from Africa and the Caribbean are constantly bragging approximately how that are able to return to the U. S. and get each and every of the educational that they choose for unfastened. those from Africa often says that they arrive here and no person gets of their way. those from the Caribbeans often degrade US citizen for having much less training than them. so as that they in comparison to many Hispanics hog up each and every of the educational supplies and scholarships and later develop into quite boastful. In Washington DC lots of of them of their 30s,40s, and 50s are interior the U. S. just to acquire to an training. it quite is a competent them that the U. S. supplies them this risk.the subject with them is they acquire distinctive levels at our government cost. the conventional black immigrant interior the DC Metropolitan is a expert pupil. those that certainly succeed and works in considered one of their fields of learn many times place extra emphasis on their countries of beginning. I see this as a competent component and a bad component. Many will inform you, "F%$# usa". i've got self belief those ungrateful ones could be deported. usa has been very solid to those people who as quickly as they arrive talk to popular human beings approximately how they hate the U. S. yet loves what they furnish.

let me throw this one into the melee. Native Americans are not Natives. The immigrated across the Bering Sea when it was frozen from Asia. DNA research proves it. Mankind has been migrating like this since the beginning of time. Who is native to where is irrelevant.

I agree with you, I woud like to know myself.
In Australia, Aboriginals were the first people to own the land, Untill the first fleet arrived, ( Europeans ).

It's the same argument as native americans.
Also, as the Native Americans have huge benefits these days, as do aboriginals in Australia.

The so labeled "Native Americans" came to America at some point therefore they are technically immigrants as well if you go by all the talk in the stupid politically correct society, blah blah.

Not saying you are one, just saying...:)

They are just trying to attack those who feel our immigrations laws should be enforced. Of course it isn't true, and so long as someone came legally (or before there were laws), it's irrelevant. The issue is the illegals, and I say ROUND THEM UP AND SEND THEM HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
