I think it's gross. they come here illegally. have their 8 kids who are automatically citizens and take over our schools. now there's shootings at phs, i have to go to a private school.

I have a drivers license and auto insurance, check.
I speak english, check.
I work and pay taxes, check.
Mhhhh.... what else, i hear mexicans have to assimilate, but i don't know what else i need to do to assimilate correctly.

Ohhh yeah i got it, i'm still eating mexican food, how idiotic of me, i need to eat American food, I'm not in Mexico anymore, ok, mhhh....

Damn I can seem to wipe this brown skin off, that won't help my assimilation, darn it.

work and take advantage of the US system. Get welfare, foodstamps and free medical? Why don't they emphasize all their anger towards those employers? And if you answer that there is no work because it is taken by illegals, then you must not really want to work and sit back and take in the 'free' living the government is providing!

I made a trip to the grocery store a little while ago.While in line a hispanic woman offered to pay for my things.I graciously declined.Right after that I stopped at McDonalds and the lady in the window winked at me as I gave her the $2.17 for the double cheesburger and medium fries.When the other lady gave me the bag it seemed a little heavy to me and when I checked she had given me 8 double cheeseburgers and mediums fries.I pulled around and went inside to tell her I must have been given the wrong order.She winked at me also and said ,"no...thats the right order.".So I just came on home.Do you think maybe all of this was because I'm wearing a t-shirt that says,"Give Illegals Amnesty!"?

i am stumped. i haven't noticed any new problems with illegal immigration over the past decade or so. i grew up in texas and have spent the last 4 years in california: i am considering that an exhaustive study of border states... so what gives? i am hoping for answers that will help me understand what problem we hope to address with legislation, because most of the debates i find are limited to whether someone should be here illegally or not. i don't care! if they're here, i want to know why it should matter to me enough to spend the money to deport them! because right now, the government is pitching the same plan from two decades ago that didn't work. and i'm not anxious to try it again, when it seems like we're stuck in the same position!

People throw a fit about illegals, to me really, from what i've read here in yahoo answers, is nothing but a skin color issue. I mean how do they steal jobs? Do they sit in your desk while you go to lunch and when you come back they say "sorry, my job now". Most jobs are jobs that in reality, we wouldn't wanna do unless we really had to, and what about outsourcing, taking jobs millions of jobs away to other countries for cheap labor and escape high taxation, is that not criminal too? What about all the able bodied americans that take advantage of federal aid and don't contribute, have you ever heard of the SSI. Back to outsourcing for a second, what makes you think that your job won't become a target of outsourcing? Skin color is the issue here, not legal status, if my family were to be illegal, you'd probably wouldn't have much of a problem with us. Go ahead and put your links up, i'm not gonna look at the right wing propaganda, thanks for your answers.

I've seen a lot of people who don't like illegal immigrants, but it seems that they attack mexicans wether they are legal or illgal, it's true, ive seen it here on Y! A!. What i dont get is why they hate them so much, i met a few mexican guys and girls here in myrtle beach, and they don't seem at all how people here describe them. They're not on welfare, commiting crime, stealing, and one has an american flag tattoo, so i don't see why people who hate illegals also hate mexicans wether legal or illegal, the ones I met seem very american and not at all how people here have been describing them.

The Fox Network has the show COPS. Why not get Fox to create a Show called ICE Squad. Every week we'd get to watch ICE round up and deport Illegals. I believe there would actually be an audience for a show like this. You know Pro Illegals would get involved and create all kinds of scenes you couldn't possibly even right scripts to create. And the best part is the TV ads would cover the cost of Deporting them.

Does this mean that a tourist can come here on a tourist, student or work visa and renew it every six months until he's been here 5 years and then become a citizen if he wants... or does it mean that you have to have your green card for 5 years?
And.. is it possible to become a citizen if no one can petition for you?

If you're already here illegally or want to live permanently and want to apply, you must write an essay about why you should stay/be here and what would you do for the USA in return for the priveledge of living here...Then pick the best ones and make sure there's a plan in place to make sure their promises are followed through or else...bye bye....

If we grant Amnesty for the many here-would not we be showing favoritism to one country? Is that against our laws to favor one nationality over another? So if others break the law and come-wouldn't they have good cause for a law suit?

HI who here is also sick and tired of the increasing racism in the U.S. and on this website because of the immigration issue this issue was based purely out of racism no matter how much you deny it Americans especialy white Americans you are just afraid that you will lose you're supremacy in this country and that maybe one day there could be a president who isn't white who here is also sick and tired of thease racists and Neo Nazis immigrants do nothing wrong we aren't criminals I don't see what's so bad about trying to feed you're starving family or working in a job that Americans wont do you complain that immigrants take you're jobs why would an American citizen who has all his papers and can get a good job and a good education want to get a job at picking fruit being a gardner a janitor or any of the other jobs most immigrants do. Actually, there are two of us. My boyfriend is looking into this as well. If possible, we'd like to find a country that has slightly more gay-friendly ideas abiout marriage and such, but mostly we just want out of America. It's time to get off a sinking ship, you know?
