I'm writing about the theroetical basis for the constituion for a government essay, I was told I would fine the answer in Federalist papers 47 48 and 49. Am I correct in thinkng that the basis is (to quote the constitution fo Georgia) "that the legislative, executive, and judiciary departments shall be separate and distinct, so that neither exercise the powers properly belonging to the other"

Is that right?

What are your thoughts. I think that if people need assistance for a short period of time just until they get back on their feet then that is fine. I was on foodstamps for a period of time when I was out of work after having my son. But got off of them as soon as I came back to work and was stable. I think the goverment should make these people that think it is ok to just sit on there A**es and collect get out there and get a job.... what do you think??? Maybe someone here can make me change my view on this!!

if yes, wouldn't it be a much better legal case to site his treason on border security and his position on illegals, rather than on his foreign policy and the war on islam? he is permitting this country to be overrun with illegals who drain our resources on local, state, and national levels, bring gangs, drugs and crime to our neighborhoods, re-introduce diseases eradicated long ago such as tuberculosis, destroy the environment wherever they live and, in due course, will replace our language and culture with theirs. In answering, please address the fact that man's population on earth is growing, and that the number of people driving cars will only go up, and that we will have to cut down more forests to build more homes, and we will need more factories making things that we use.


Part B) Lastly, but even more importantly, please indicate which politcal party you think is better for the USA, the democrats or the republicans. To win best answer, you should address both parts A and part B.

A million a minute, that's what we owe on the National Debt. It works out to about $30,000 per person....man, woman and child...in the United States, and it is still growing.

Clearly, this situation will end in extreme poverty or bankruptcy for the United States if other countries call in their debts. The National Debt adds up to 9.13 Trillion dollars, and as the interest rates compound, other programs in our country will have to be slashed.

When George Bush took office, the National Debt was 5.2 trillion. When he leaves office, it will top at about $10 trillion. That's $10,000,000,000,000.00.

In 1989, the National Debt was $2.7 trillion. It is estimated that the Iraq War will add $2.4 trillion to these totals. Out of the National Debt money, $4. trillion is owed to the Social Security program. The rest is made up mostly of loans from foreign investors, and our own banks, and other investors.

My question: Is it time to be more frugal and to start cutting down this debt?

I am so aggravated right now, my brother was released from prison after nearly 10yrs (drugs..nothing violent) he had a job through a temp agency, but was laid off, because the company had low production. Anyway, he cannot find a job around here because he has a felony. I believe that once they serve their time, they should be given at least a 2nd chance. Have their rights back whatever. Now I know he's my brother, but i felt this way before. what's aggravating is that im afraid if he doesn't find a job fast...he may be tempted to get back in the game again.. and it hurts cuz i can't help him.
