When a country decides to go to war, it must place the names of every president, politician, senator, representative, (or whatever like title), governor, mayor, in a huge fishbowl. When one of the countries young men or women, (they are the first to go) is killed, National television will show the family of that person drawing a name out of the bowl. That person will then be executed the next day on national news. If the people voting for war and destruction faced the same possibility, it seems that there would be less of it. I know, I know, this is fantasy, but ...

The USA spent billions of dollars in national security trying to avoid terrorist to come to USA to kill people. However it is a dissapoint that the door is open to crazy people to buy wepons and kill people inside USA. In fact I think if terrorists come inside of USA it will be so easy for them to get weapons inside USA. By the way I got tired of the National Rifle Association.

I'm totally confused. It seems each candidate gives elusive answers that answer no questions. None of them give a direct answer, but an answer designed to satisfy the question in a general manner. Is it that they are all liars? Is it finally time to evolve into the next world order by rising up and cutting the wheat from the chaff with the guillotine? For those of you at Homeland Security, do you know what the word "facetious" means? Probably not. You are a brainwashed Christian Republican with no classical education.

The USA has a federal form of gov't. What does this mean? In what ways does federalism shape American politics. In other words, how is the American political system different because of this method of organizing power? Perhaps another way of looking at this is to ask, what difference do states make as separate political entities? How has this changed over time?

"I believe that people have a right to decide their own destiny; people own themselves. I also believe that, in a democracy, government exists because (and only as long as) individual citizens give it a "temporary license to exist" - in exchange for a promise that it will behave itself. In a democracy you own the government - it doesn't own you. Along with this comes a responsibility to ensure that individual actions, in the pursuit of a personal destiny, do not threaten the well-being of others while the "pursuit" is in progress."
