the government didn't "set up" the attacks, but they darn sure knew about them beforehand thru intelligence that has been only now filtering in to the press.
what incentives would they have not to forewarn the public, thats easy...2 get us back into a war we didn't want over what...oil, black gold, iraqui tea...and at what American human life cost.
george bush jr wanted back into that war 2 try and save face for his dad, bush sr who blew it the first time we went 2 war with iraq...where's those wepons of mass destruction that were said 2 b all over the place...have they found any yet that would justify the need 2 lose all the American men, women and families children that we've lost so far...no.
do they still burn the American flag and demand we leave their country despite all the "good" that the bush administration says we've done there and must continue 2 do, yup.
25yrs ago a guy paid $12,500 an acre for 5 acres of land that was selling just 2 weeks earlier for $2,500 an acre. my dad was county tax assessor and the property was along a major highway in the small town we lived in. when my dad inquired y he paid so much 4 that land, the new owner said he was building an oilfield company and the cost of the land would b offset by, and let me quote here:
"oil, man; oil".
funny, i believe thats all this war we're in now is about...anyone wanna disagree, just place 50 thumbs down at the bottom, and as the bartles and james tv ad usta say, "thank you for your support".

Why in the world would any intelligent person think they would? For it's nuisance value? To crash our stock market and cause a financial crisis to attempt to bail us out of? To get caught in an unnecessary conspiracy in which hundreds of elected officials would be assigned life sentences and/or be put to death? To cause a war we cannot afford to pay for in either blood or money? To help incite high gas prices causing an unbearable hardship on the American people? Give me some idea of a REAL motive for such nonsense. My question exactly... why would they? Oh, yeah, we want their oil. Right. Well, we've got the muscle. Let's just march in there and take it. I mean, why fool around? Just cobalt the whole area first. No muss, no fuss.

You ask the question like it is a fact that the Bush administration set up the attack. It isn´t. The only thing the Bush administration is responsible for is incompetence. While the Clinton administration had been trying to kill bin Laden, Bush immediately ordered a halt to all investigations into bin Laden. The bin Ladens and the Bushes are old friends.
To bring the WTC down had been a terrorist wet dream for years. They had tried before and nearly did it. The attacks on 9/11 had been around for years. Bin Laden is responsible. He did it. Is proud of it and is bragging about it. As a very pius man (pius and evil) he would never had accepted for anyone to claim he did it if he wasn´t responsible. He has never refuted that fact. Instead he has said time and time again that he and Al Qaida carried out the attacks.

In the buildings destroyed was at least one organisation that was supposed to be investigating the government for crimes
They wanted an excuse to invade Iraq, Iran or anyone else
Unite the people behind a Government that was loosing popularity
So they can increase military spending without question
I'm sure the other people here will come up with other reasons
But this is all guess work - wait 20 to 50 years for the reports to be declassified

The 'Government' wouldn't.
Private interest groups having influence within elements of the government is who would.
The matter is far too complicated to be summarized here. There's copius amounts of info available out there. If you really want ot know about this, do the research. Watch 'loose change' for a start.
** I would direct you to a website with alot of info an the subject, but Y/A will not allow it... interesting.

The allegation that the government set up 9/11 is only a presumption of the theorists but not substantiated with evidence.

It would be pretty asinine if they did. But the government's always worked in pretty mysterious ******* ways. Why wouldn't they? When did stupid ever stop THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION? A good answer would be we're all idiots since we put him there in the first place. My advice is just eat your cheese and crackers and drink your v8 if thats your bit and everything will be all right.

you dont have to set it up, exactly. just wait for it to happen.
and do you really think that george bush is that stupid, or hes really making all the decisions? he has a speech writer, how could he possibly have so many "mistakes" unless hes playing the bad guy? blame him till he leaves office? can he really shoot someone, and then everyone say "that silly bush, didnt he know that would kill someone!"
and then jack up the oil prices
