if yes, wouldn't it be a much better legal case to site his treason on border security and his position on illegals, rather than on his foreign policy and the war on islam? he is permitting this country to be overrun with illegals who drain our resources on local, state, and national levels, bring gangs, drugs and crime to our neighborhoods, re-introduce diseases eradicated long ago such as tuberculosis, destroy the environment wherever they live and, in due course, will replace our language and culture with theirs. THIS is the offense that cindy sheehan and the code pink nazis should be using to impeach this man, not the war on islam.

david - while i do agree with some of your points (but not all), his sworn duty is to protect and defend the constitution against all enemies both foreign and domestic. his collusion with the mexican government IS a treasonous offense and his position on illegals is most definitely NOT just an "opinion".

First of all, a political opinion is not an impeachable offense. I don't like his stand on illegal aliens, but it does not constitute a high crime or misdemeanor.
Secondly, Bush is not at war with Islam. He never said he was.
Finally, Bush should be impeached for:
1. Lying about the danger posed by Saddam Hussein. I can show direct evidence that they knew that he had no substantial WMD's.
2. Outing a CIA agent because he didn't like what her husband said.
3. Colluding with defense contractors to defraud American taxpayers.
FYI: I'm a staunch conservative.

Impeachment is too expensive, and takes too long. Besides, Bush hasn't had any kind of adulterous sexual liaison with another consenting adult, to our knowledge, so Congress wouldn't consider anything he's done an impeachable offense.
I'd prefer to see Bush convicted and publicly hanged by an international tribunal for high crimes against humanity, just as he arranged to have Saddam Hussein hanged to 'settle the score' between Hussein and the Bush family. -RKO- 12/03/07
