Did you hear the question on if it is time to have a "black man" in office? Do you want a person to talk about your color in any matters? I am not black but we are mad because stupid people put that inot conversation. So does it concern you?

I mean, it would make sense for the bank PRESIDENT to take the day off, but that's not who I need to see anyway. I think it dishonours the memories of our greatest presidents when people who aren't presidents take the day off.

I would repeal our signatory to the so called human rights act -no more fat overpaid foreigners telling us what we can do. Negotiate an exit partial or otherwise from the EEC. Any asylum seeker or immigrant convicted of a serious crime would be expelled immediately (why pay to keep low lifes in jail?) There would be no dictate from any religion telling us what we must or musn't do, if people do not like that they have a choice. Social security must be addressed, the largest growth area seems to be longterm sick; therefore I propose more compulsory regular examinations and the obligation for claimants to attend reassessment training interviews. Teenagers who get pregnant and claim should not automatically think they have a meal ticket for sixteen years, they should have to attend further education lots of colleges have creches these days.Social housing should be given on merit not on the fact that someone can just have three kids and jump any queues Sale of council stock stopped

adam smith, as he was creating the idea of an economy also promoted the concept of laissez faire, in which there would be less of a governmental role in the economy. most conservatives in the republican party also believe in the idea of less government involvement. since Bush is a republican and has stated that he is a conservative, i am curious as to why he is running our country with such a strong government hand. clearly laissez faire is not being put to work at all in our current situation and so my question is how would you categorize our current governement and how might we be able to slowly move more into the direction of laissez faire? however, in asking this question, i am by no means suggesting that we should promote laissez faire to the point of anarchy.

I've heard of grants, but dont know much about them. Every time I try to research about them, someone wants to sell me something. I'm pretty sure I could apply and get one, but I dont know how.

I'm 19 y/o, 9 months pregnant, and for obvious reasons, unemployed.

We are constantly complaining about the innefficency of the government. Education, transportation, homeland security, IRS, congress, FEMA, etc......

Why on God's green earth would we take one of the best health care systems on the planet and put it in the hands of a government that can't even handle the things they currently manage?
Think about it!!!
Name one thing the government is doing well.

It has become so popular to outsource jobs lately. Why not outsource our prisons to third world countries. I'm sure we could reduce the cost of housing and feeding inmates dramatically by putting them somewhere in the middle of Mexico. We couold still have prisons for the petty criminals, but those facing 10 or more years could take a nice little vacation to a foreign prison. This might even be a little incentive to stay on the straight and narrow.

Any seriousness implied here is to confuse those who take life too seriously. Since the government already taxes out electricity, heatig and motor fuels, and even out water, I wonder if it is just a matter of time before they tax our air.
