I mean, it would make sense for the bank PRESIDENT to take the day off, but that's not who I need to see anyway. I think it dishonours the memories of our greatest presidents when people who aren't presidents take the day off.

it is a day that through history people were given off because there were celibrations to honor presidents it has only been farly recently that things have changed, and it is more along the point to ask why have we pulled away from honoring our past and building a tightly linked sense of country, community, and family
