When Margaret Thatcher was Prime Minister we were respected the whole world over. People didn't mess with us. She wouldn't have let all these eastern European murderers, rapists, robbers etc in, nor would we be in the predicament we are in over Iraq. Other countries used our way of life as a standard for their own, can you imagine that now? We get all the dregs of society coming here in their droves and BLOODY Labour welcomes them with open arms, after all it's we the general public who have to live with them and put up with their uncivilsed ways, not them. Margaret Thatcher deserves this memorial to her years in government. Well done Maggie!

we have a too expensive transport system, healthcare in debt and a pantion crisis, and they want to put up a statue of the women who kickstarted many of the problems we have today?
why why why??? are they asking for trouble? is it a secret ploy to catch amature grapitti vandels but hiding 10 billion cctv cameras around her and then take thier pick?

By all means give her statue.Put a miners lamp in one hand,and a bottle of milk in the other.Just to remind people what she was famous for.Crushing the miners and stealing from the schoolchildren.(I know there was the poll tax and the falklands,couldnt think of anything to represent them).
