What are the rules for immigrants regarding voting? I know they cannot run for president, but can they vote for this position? What are your feelings about immigrant voting?

For example, instead of the candidate going around trying to gather finanical donations, each candidate is given the same amount of money as well as the same airtime to give his/her opinion. Also, there will be televised debates. This way, the candidate with the most charisma, talent and best ideas will win, rather than the one with the most money to spend on attack commercials.

Insight, a conservative magazine, stands by their story that the Clinton campaign was investigating allegations about Obama's Muslim upbringing.

The NY Times debunked the story, but it was not 100% clear whether they were talking about allegations regarding Obama, the story about the Clinton camp, or both.

So what's the story? And what's the track record for each publication?

Thanks.

saw the issues the same way? Why would I want to join the party of these hatemongers and shakedown artist? Then there is Barney Frank. Could you let a guy lead you that has spent most of his life on his knees. Then there is the Grand Dragon, Sen. Byrd, of the WV KKK. Do I want to be associated with that? Then old Ted Kennedy never met a gin he didn't like. What sleaze.

She has virtually no opinions of her own. She says she will end the war but refuses to cut off funding for it.

She says "Bush Lied" but said she "personally reviewed" all the material that her to make the same decision Bush made. Therefore, if Bush "lied", then she also "Lied" to her constituants and led them into this "unpopular war".

She claims that she can "lead" the U.S. and reclaim our respect throughout the world by effectively dealing with world leaders.... but she can't even control her husband.

She wants us to be energy independent.... but voted against drilling in Alaska, Florida and California.

She thinks queer marriage should be legal.... but abstained from the senate vote to legalize it.

She criticises the war, but offers no plan for how withdrawing our forces can safely work in the region.

AND... WHAT REALLY HAPPENED TO THE VINCE FOSTER INVESTIGATION? HOW DID MISSING BILLING RECORDS TURN UP ON A COFFEE TABLE IN THE WHITE HOUSE?

During election time, there's a lot of talk about so-called independent voters. In the United States at least, do they really exist in enough numbers to justify talking about them? Are there any Republicans or Democrats in here who'd seriously consider voting for someone on the other side - and if so, in what circumstances?.

make Obama look weak, thin-skinned and even woefully less than qualified to lead this country, with all of their whining about people complimenting him for being articulate? Holy crud! To be articulate is a good thing. Why do liberals feel compelled to try to turn everything concievable into a race issue to use for their own agenda.

Al Gore should consider running for president. He was the precidential candidate for the Democract, and alsmot won. Why not in 2008? can he lower the deficit? WHat would he do with Iran?

Do you think he will be allowed to run for president in 2008?
The Republicans might not let him run because he's pro-choice, pro-gay and against guns.
I think he's the only one who could beat Hillary Clinton. The Republicans would be really stupid to not let him run. Do you agree?

I'm a foreigner, I like USA but I am by no means want to be US citizen or live in the USA.

Now, my question is how to be active in promoting political activisim and opening communication channels between USA government and the rest of the world?

I mean, look at Bush administration and how he has made such a mess with the world and now he is striving to invade Iran.

Please read Barry M. Lando's "Web of Deceit" and Ted Koppel's documentary on Iran before you invoke 9/11 tragedy or accuse me of hating USA. Those books state the facts about the issue, not mere affection.

I respect USA (but not its current leaders) and I respect the rest of the world. I want to do something to stop further wars (which may escalate beyond Iran-US conflict). I'm a business/communication major, not a politician, so please teach me how. Thank you.
