If everyone committed to voting at all levels of local, state and govenment elections, do you think our country would make better decisions.

Since everyone has already thrown in his/her hat into the election already, how do you think you will vote?

Is there still time to change your mind?

I would definitely, he is a great president. I just don't agree with him at one issue: Global Warming. The rest of his policy is pretty good.

Honours for cash has been going on now for more than half a century. Labour. Conservatives and Liberal Parties have all done it, and everybody in authority knows that. So why all this sudden crocodile tears, furore and wasting valuable police time investigating it in 2006 2007. The alternative from political parties having to fund themselves as at present is for the taxpayer to have to fund the political campaigning of all Political Parties, which means we will all have to pay higher taxes so that the smaller parties like the BNP, Scot & Welsh Nats, UKIP and Monster Raving Looney Party can campaign with equal funding to Tories, Labour and Lib Dems? That is why Nats raised matter to try to screw money out of you and me. Does anybody want to pay higher taxes for such a purpose?

Governor Thompson has proposed that Iraq be made into a federal form of government (like the US, Canada and Germany for example). There would be three states within the federation - Kurdish, Sunni and Shia. There would be a federal government to deal with defence and the economic infrastructure. All citizens would recieve royalty payments from oil production (like they do in Alaska). He recognises there would be major issues to still work out. Any comments or other ideas? The other candidates don't seem to have the guts to state their own positions.
