I agree. There was a question on here about the Democrat 08 strategy. You should read it. Rudy really has it all and can win. People worry about him losing the religious right. My question is where are they going to go?? Nowhere. They'll just complain. He will have them as well as the moderates that the Democrats will lose.
Edit: It is one of my starred comments.

He is a very divisive person. Looking back at his comments during the 2004 election cycle when he was an analyst on several media networks... he called democrats everything and anything bad, and sometimes downright derogatory. I'll be honest, I am a Democrat, and if I had to vote for a Republican candidate it would Gov. Huckabee from Arkansas. We need some healing in America, and some togetherness. Huckabee is a strong willed guy that can work with both sides. If you asked me a few years ago I would have told you flat out I would vote for McCain if he ever made it to the presidential ballot, but that has changed. He has kind of gone all over the map lately.
I support Barack Obama on the dems side, because I believe he has enough experience and credibility to get the job done. The number 1 thing though is character. I think Obama has it, I think Huckabee has it. Please just choose someone that won't divide and conquer the country. We can't take much more of it!!

What makes you think Hillary can win? In every single poll that I have seen, her unfavorable or definitely won't vote for percentage has been around 55%. She has a solid base to the left, but she won't win because she can't pull from the middle. The only way for her to achieve this is to win like her husband and hope that a third party comes in a takes away from the Republican candidate. Remember that Bill Clinton won with only around 43% of the vote. If she runs, the Democrats will lose regardless of who the Pubs elect as their candidate.

Giuliani will be treated the way Nelson Rockefeller was when he ran for president against Richard Nixon for the Republican nomination. He, too, was a liberal. Let's don't forget that Giuliani, when he was "America's Mayor", wanted his mistress to move into Gracie Mansion while his wife still lived with him. She refused to leave or to grant Rudy a divorce. That's one of the reasons Rudy didn't run against Hillary Clinton for the US Senate. Republicans are too conservative, and their platform will never support pro-abortion, pro-gay rights, and anti-hand gun controls. John McCain or Gov. Mitt Romney of Massachusetts will get the nomination. Giuliani will fade in the southern states.

He's been approved by the folks who own the Federal Reserve. Same as Clinton, Obama and McCain. My support is behind Congressman Ron Paul because he's the only prospective candidate with the courage to stand up to the owners of the Federal Reserve rather than merely serve as their puppet and he's got a track record of supporting the United States Constitution regardless of party politics or prevailing political winds that none of the other wannabes can come close to.

before 9/11 he grow to be an unpopular mayor, a sleazeball who tried to flow his m1stress into the Mayor's Mansion at the same time as his then-spouse (#2) nonetheless lived there. He grow to be contained in the incorrect position on the right time on 9/11 yet does that make him a hero? What, precisely, did he DO? i understand he made New Yorkers "sense better effective" yet that doesn't mean a element to me. long island ought to have rallied round WHOEVER grow to be mayor on the time, in spite of if he grow to be Bozo the Clown. Being Mayor is inadequate qualification for the interest of President. and on account that Giuliani has favored gun administration, gay rights, and abortion in his occupation, anybody of that could smash a candidate contained in the GOP primaries, he does not have a probability besides.

He'll get to run, but he might not win the primary because he's not exactly Joe Conservative. He's a social liberal and an economic conservative. If the republican party wants to make abortion, gay marriage, and guns their main issue (which is asanine because clearly the War in Iraq is the most pressing issue right now), they would be silly to just drop Giuliani.

I think hes the most serious choice that the Repubs could have. He is moderate enough that he would appeal to some Dems, and then there is the hero factor too. All in all, he is that once in a lifetime perfect candidate.
