I would not vote for a woman just because she is a woman. I would vote for the person who I thought could do the best job for our country.

I would vote for a woman, a black; any American if I could justify my vote with my conscience.

If a female were the first to get the Democratic nomination I would vote and work for her! With the exception of Gerald Ford, who I like personally, I could never vote for him because of his pardon of Nixon!

There has never been another Republican I might have voted for! They think America belongs to them!

It depends on the woman. But all things being equal otherwise? Absolutely! I look forward to the day when we've got an equal balance of male and female leaders (and of races), which would be *true* representation. But it will only happen if we elect the *right* women (and minority) candidates.

Yes. If a man and a woman are both running for president, and I equally liked what they stood for, I would choose the woman...to get the ball rolling. The majority of women (and other groups) are sick to death of prejudice at all levels.

I want theire to be a woman president too, but I wouldn't vote for just any woman. If she were qualified I'd be running to the polls.

If I agreed with her policies and what she planned on doing in office yes I would. But if she ran with the policies that are similar to what Bush ran on, no way in h_ ll. Male or female I vote for the one who I agree with on policies and their plans with. I don't just vote for sex, religion, race or appearance. I want someone who can do what they are suppose to do.

if you mean hillary, i would say yah probably because she's not that bad and i agree with her about 70% of the time. but if you mean any woman, i don't know. i wouldn't want someone like leni riefenstahl or catherine de medici. i don't think i would necessarily vote for a woman only because she was a woman.

I would if she is the person for the job. It does not matter to me who it is and what gender or color they are as long as they are going to do good things for our country.
PS: I read this somewhere and thought it was funny.
When a woman is depressed she will cry. When a man is depressed he will go start a war. ;)

I wouldn't vote for her just because she is a woman....that's
just as stupid as voting against her because she's a woman. I would vote for her if she was the best candidate running.
