I would prefer someone like John McCain. Unfortunately his age will not make him a viable candidate when Rudy's terms are over.
I would suggest someone whom is young that is quite Conservative. This would strengthen and encourage the Evangelical voters to come out in droves in the next election.
Youth is a key factor. This is where Bush messed up because Cheney is so old. Being a Vice President considerably enhances chances of winning a presidential election.
If McCain or Rudy were Vice president all these years the Republican primary would be a mere formality.
Sean Hannity, Mitt Romney, or Brownback are possible good vice presidential candidates.

That's assuming he gets the nomination and goes far enough to get a VP candidate. I like Guliani. I don't like McCain, but the fat is, any repub. contender will have to be a strong moderate. Someone seen as a conservative in this next election will be just as unelectable as John Kerry. I'm listening at this point. I need to hear more about the candidates.

This might sound crazy but maybe Tancredo? If the Republicans are split and Giuliani blows McCain out (and possibly having McCain step down), the conservative wing might decide to nominate Tancredo. Remember, if the Republicans aren't careful and Tancredo doesn't do well in any primaries, he could run as a third party candidate. Question is if the Republicans decide to have Giuliani nominate Tancredo in order to have a compromise ticket or will they risk it and possibly have Tancredo running for a third party, possibly electing a Democrat ticket. Thanks!

Nobody. He is a liberal who supported gun control and marched in a gay pride parade with his roommate. No way the Conservative Republicans will vote for him. He would have a better chance on the Democratic ticket. Unless he wants to change his stance all of the sudden, which would be extremely hypocritical and something that people slam Clinton for.
