I just turned 18 today and want to register for the draft but I don't know where you register at. Does anyone where you register at or how long you have to register or if you get a fine or something if you don't.

it looks as if there are a lot of liberals/democrats answering questions on here during a time when a lot of people are at work. Why is that?

Is it just the good looks and charm that get people going, the fact that he has been elevated to celebrity status by Oprah? Has anyone else researched how he voted as a Senator from Illinois?

Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. backs.

He sponsored S.CON.RES.53: A concurrent resolution expressing the sense of Congress that any effort to impose photo identification requirements for voting should be rejected.

In 1999 he was the only Illinois State Senator to vote against a bill barring early release for (criminal) sex offenders.

He voted against filtering pornography on school and library computers and he voted for sex education for kindergarten children through the 5th grade.

Also, in 2001, he voted “present” on a bill to keep pornographic book and video stores and strip clubs from setting up within 1,000 feet of schools and churches.

Just as unsettling is his voting record on abortion.

Twice, Obama voted against bills prohibiting tax funding of abortions.

In February 2004, his wife, Michelle, sent out a fundraising letter, which actually stated her concern over the rise of conservatism in the Country, and that the ‘so-called’ partial-birth abortion was a legitimate medical procedure that should be protected.

Ive been noticing that some sites are changing to where they no longer have illegal dls. Well, Im sure movie and music makers are happy... Why is this happening when the sites are overseas? Is the American arm of the law extending that far?

I'm talking about the Amish living in America, who are American citizens. During the World Wars and the Vietnam war when there were drafts in affect, were the Amish exempt because of their lifestyle? I don't believe it is fair if they are exempt. All Americans should have to fight for their country if their country needs them to. All male Americans anyway, since I know that women in the military have the choice not to fight in combat.

He said on the Oprah show that the AIDS crisis in Africa needs to be a GLOBAL ISSUE, and that we need to step in and "rectify" the problem, DOES anyone else BELIEVE that we have enough of our OWN problems to not worry about Africa's problems also? I guess him and Oprah will build more schools over their and clinics when we have children here in need of schools and people needing healthcare....opinions?

I was seeing this guy on and off for three years now. One year ago I was arressted for having a warrant out that I didn't know about for calling this girl to many times. I was trying to tell her about her childs father and how he was telling us both that he loved us and wanted to be with us. At the time he was living with me. Now he is living with her and just one day up and left me. I sent her all of the evidence I had, pictures, etc. to help her see what is going on but she didn't believe me or want to her about it so she went to the police again. Now I have an arrest warrant out and I could go to jail what do I do?

Is this George W. Bush's legacy?
Muslims now distrust us so much that they automatically assume the United States had a hand in Bhutto's assasination? Is this George W. Bush's legacy?

And, remember, that Bhutto was Pro-West, and the quote below was from her followers. You would think Bhutto's followers would be Pro-West, and even THEY don't trust the United States.

"Shame on the killer Musharraf, shame on the killer U.S." mourners cried, as her [Bhutto's] husband, Asif Ali Zardari, accompanied the closed coffin draped with the green, red and black tricolor of Bhutto's Pakistan People's Party on the funeral procession to the mausoleum in the village of Garhi Khuda Bakhsh.
