I frankly don't give a rat's behind when a particular celebrity endorses a candidate. And I think most other people don't give a rat's rectal ring about it either.

So the answer is 'no' to both.

Like Bill and Oprah, Sheen has a following and they will respect his word. Iowans are not fools. They know how to think for themselves and will prove it on Jan. 3rd. Richardson is by far the most qualified candidate to ever run for the presidency and if Sheen can help point that out, that would be the point. Biden, Hillary and Obama should step out of the race. As Senators they are suppose to defend the Constitutional rights. In not helping Dodd with the filibuster on the FISA bill, they've proven they can't be trusted to defend our 1st Amendment, much less the rest of our civil liberties. Ron Paul is a wacko, but at least, like Richardson, he's against the Iraq war continuing. If Sheen can get Richardson's position on the Iraq war more publicity, all the better.

The kids are understandably getting lured away by the US college scholarships, and you can't blame them for that. Barring an honest version of Alan Stanford rolling up, I can't see much in the Islands that can stump up the cash needed to retain the talent. Perhaps the BBL PBL IPL etc will be a necessary evil, with the cash offered by those competitions perhaps being sufficient to stem the tide. Ironic really that the concept was kicked off originally in the West Indies, and it now may come full circle and revive the game there from the outside. The external cash will also weaken the inter islands factionalism that has plagued the game there as well.

Historically, celebrities have little impact on a candidates chances. The exception my be Oprah Winfrey's endorsement of and work for Obama, but even her impact is not known yet. I think it is safe to say that Martin Sheen and Richard Schiff will have virtually no impact on the voting public.
