The way I understand this, it doesn't matter if everyone in the entire state votes for a partcular candidate, the ONLY votes that count are the ones from the electoral college, and these votes do NOT have to match the votes of the masses. So, I ask---what's the purpose?

My sisters ex "hit a patch of ice" on Christmas Eve. He declined a breathalyser (he had a previous DUI about a year or year and a half ago). He also had his two young boys in the car with him so is being charged with child endangering. Funny thing is, the cop let him continue driving home with the two boys in the car, go figure. Anyway.... he has his court date January 22, we live in Ohio, anyone know what the judge would/could do to him for all this?

I recently was eating a sandwich at a national company when I bit into glass in the sandwich. I called the company and they said keep the glass they will investigate it. A few days later I got another call and the man offered me free sandwichs. Needless to say I was not happy. I guess my question is do I have a good case to sue and for how much. I did not get cut, but I did hurt my tooth when I bit down on it....

My boyfriend and his brother are both being sued as co-defendants in a frivilous civil lawsuit. His brother was served with the summons, which states that he has thirty days for the day he was served to file an answer. For some reason, my boyfriend has not been served. Do co-defendants need to be severed separately? If so, does that mean he does not need to file an answer until he gets the summons, or does he and his brother need to file jointly?

i have to go to court next week because my landlord is trying to evict me because i called l&i on him because my house is a death trap and they told me that in philadelphia you must have a rental licesne to rent i found out my landlord does not have one. now i don't have any of the money to show for the rent i didnt pay because my child got sick and i had to pay those bills soWHAT DO YOU THINK THE JUDGE MAY SAY .will him not having a licesne help my case.

I was arrested and got 4 charges on a ticket for a dui. they had to take me to another station for the breath test and after that he wrote on the ticket what i blew are they allowed to add charges?never been in trouble before at all so i dont know!

We get enough lying, cheating, bashing from a male dominated society, Y do females still bash each other?
Many women call each other bi(ches and are more critical/judgemental of each other. (And are proud of it)

When the guy cheats, the woman automatically blames the other woman. What if the women didnt know? If you didnt notice, guys like to lie to get sex.

When many women dress they don't even dress for men, they dress to compete with each other. You know who you are.

Does anyone know if Ron Paul has an official stance on NASA and if so, what is it?

I am guessing that he would completely deregulate the "space industry" while dramatically cutting funding for NASA, resulting in a short-term drop in American abilities to explore space, but a long term jump as the industry is privatized and the efficiency of the private sector takes over.

Any ideas?

My X just bought a house and moved in less than 100 yards away. My restraining order states he can not come within 100 yards from me. Will the District Attorny measure property line to property line? Or front door to front door? Property line to property line is around 88 yards, front door to front door is around 118 yards. I just wonder what the parameters are when measuring. It blows me away that he would even consider moving into my neighborhood, and putting me in such an awkward position.

To me, it borders on unethical and is equal to ambulance chasing. These attorneys seem desperate for cases, and the commercials just get trashier every day.
