It's really just politicians being politicians - but I hate it!
The EU gives them a bigger stage to strut on, which is what they really care about.
The wishes of the people come way down their list, except every 5 years or so when they have to face them in an election. Just wait and see how many "popular" policies get announced then!
This EU constitution scam is the most breath-taking example of contempt for the people I have seen in my lifetime, hopefully the electorate will punish those responsible when the time comes. Trouble is... it will be too late.
Incidentally, did you know that population size is an important factor in EU (and other international) debates? A sort school-boyish of "mines bigger than yours" point scoring.
Makes you wonder if that's the real reason behind all this mad, uncontrolled immigration we are suffering, doesn't it?

I stopped voting Labour when Tony Blair became leader, how clever was I? The founders of the party would be spinning in their graves if they could see what it has become. There is nothing to choose between any of them, they are each as corrupt and self seeking as the other. I will vote for the party that says it will pull us out of the EU, re-instate our borders and deal with the major issues afflicting this country. The party that says it will put the electorate first and follow the wishes of the majority. At present there is only one party saying this and that is UKIP.

Labour have become a pathetic excuse for a political party, using any tactic they can think of in a struggle to keep power. The Blair government had some undeniably fantastic ideas and achieved a lot, but the party has lost its way completely under Gordon Brown. Gordon Brown has handled a number of situations very badly, and with David Cameron's charismatic and fresh approach to politics, it's extremely unlikely in my opinion that Labour will stay in power come the next election.

As one political journalist put it: "David Cameron is the natural successor to Tony Blair, not Gordon Brown."

I, as someone who has never supported the Labour party, consider that the average Labour voter doesn't think. As for brown how much do you think the Brussels junta are paying him to stab us in the back. I personally expect to have Brown drop us in the EU totally before we can vote him out of office.

And I wonder how Labour voters feel having the deaths of hundreds of British soldiers as well as the murders of innocent Iraqi men, women and children on their conscious too, although if they are anything like your typical New Labour voter they won't give a toss.

Thankfully I have never voted NuLab and thankfully never will have blood on my hands as they do with theirs.

I didn't vote labour, but I probably would if they were OLD labour. I hate it that they've got as far right as the "left" in america - only just left of the conservative party. Whatever happened to principles? Whatever happened to support for the common man? Whatever happened to leaders who would stand up for what they believed in, instead of standing up for what think tanks THINK they should believe this week?

i'm English, my political association is beside the point. This concern is going all of the till now to the 70's whilst the then Labour government presented the "Barnett formulation" This develop right into a financial tool which allotted extra Public Spending money to Scotland in keeping with head of inhabitants. This electoral bribe is the main reason in the back of Labour's attractiveness in Scotland, and at the instant stands at approximately £a million,500 in keeping with head of inhabitants. through fact of this the NHS in Sotland can arise with the money for those drugs, however the NHS in England won't be able to. it is likewise why the Scots can arise with the money for loose college coaching, and the English (and Wesh!) won't be able to. And on an identical time as we are on the subject of discrimination, evaluate the "West Lothian question" wherein MP's for Scottish seats can vote on concerns which will in simple terms influence English and Welsh electorate, yet no longer their very own ingredients, (through fact in Scotland those concerns are dealt with by employing the Scottish Parliament) even however Wales has a nationwide assembly it has a approaches much less ability than the Scottish Parliament, and of path it would not have the extra "Barnett formulation" money to splash approximately.so which you will locate that English and Welsh electorate have fairly plenty to experience pissed-off approximately, possibly it's time for slightly English Nationalism. I say this with some trepidation, through fact Labour spin has consistently controlled to effectively confuse English Nationalism with soccer hooliganism and the racist nutters of the BNP, yet we don't all experience like that. To be trustworthy, i'm a Unionist. i could prefer to work out all Brits, of all races and nationalities getting alongside in solidarity. yet there are alot of inequalities that would desire to be addressed, and are not being addressed till now this occurs. thank you for giving me the possibility to get that lot off my chest!

Thatcher f*cked this country well and truly.
Labour has had to spend millions to get it back to where it is now.
Blair and Brown may not have been perfect, but they didn`t close everything in sight.
Cameron would have done exactly the same if not MORE!
Don`t you remember the POLL TAX introduced by your lovely Tory gits?

If Cameron gets into number 10, it will be a sad day for this country.
