the Nazis were ardent socialists like today's U.S. liberals. They believed in free health care and guaranteed jobs. They confiscated inherited wealth and spent vast sums on public education. They purged the church from public policy, promoted a new form of pagan spirituality, and inserted the authority of the state into every nook and cranny of daily life. The Nazis declared war on smoking, supported abortion, euthanasia, and gun control. They loathed the free market, provided generous pensions for the elderly, and maintained a strict racial quota system in their universities—where campus speech codes were all the rage. The Nazis led the world in organic farming and alternative medicine. Hitler was a strict vegetarian, and Himmler was an animal rights activist.
I suggest you read this book to educate yourself.

Sorry to break the news to you people, but fascism is a left-wing movement.

Mussolini was a leftist and was one of Italy's most prominent Marxist theoreticians and an intimate of Lenin. He in fact first became well-known as "Il Duce" (the Leader) when he was a member of Italy's (Marxist) Socialist Party and between 1912 and 1914 he was the editor of their newspaper, "L'Avanti". After his split with the Socialist Party he started his own Leftist newspaper "Il Popolo d'Italia" ("The people of Italy").

I don't know about "liberal fascism", but the thought of Hillarhoid getting elected to president scares the snot right out of me!

I predict the first thing to go will be the freedom of speech, as in the reinstatement of the fairness doctrine at the FCC. Liberals cannot stand criticism of their policies and taxes and bigger government and government spending, so out goes freedom of speech!

Then they will do their best to make the Second Amendment meaningless with their unconstitutional restrictions and regulations on owning a firearm. And once you take away the people's right to defend themselves against tyranny, the rest of the Bill of Rights will go by the wayside and that's exactly what we will have - TYRANNY!

the Nazi's were Nazi's. they called themselves National Socialists but had as much in common with Socialists as capitalists have with communists. The definition of fascism is the combining of corporate interests with government into a corporate State. So since "liberals are usually in opposition to corporate interests, it hardly seems like an accurate label.

Please keep in mind that Fascism includes inspiring fear of other ideologies. Such as this question. It also includes calling other parties/ideologies unpatriotic. Such as this question. The left wing has nothing to do with Fascism.

As a counter argument, Fascism constantly promotes Patriotism. Which is right wing. I'm not saying that the US right wing is fascist, it isn't, but I am pointing out that it can go both ways.

What exactly is your point? So, if the Nazi's were fans of organic farming, then we must now accept organic farming as evil and fascist? That organic farming and natural healing is a stepping stone to genocide?

Nope. Especially because it doesn't exist. Great stuff really, I'd love to hear where it does, and how.
Amazing, everyone does this. Nice comparison, Nazis to American liberals. Guess you'll be doing the same for the Jews in Israel in the Kibbutzim, the most socialist centers in the world. Because, of course, they have to be fascist.
Besides that, you realize that socialism and fascism are almost polar opposites, don't you? Keep dreaming.

To answer your question;

No, But liberal socialism is a threat to America. Frederick Douglas put it best when he said;

"I know no class of my fellowmen, however just, enlightened, and humane, which can be wisely and safely trusted absolutely with the liberties of any other class."
