Do people (mostly Conservatives) who bash the "Democratic" controlled Congress understand how our government works? Do they understand that a majority of 1 in the Senate is not Veto proof? Do they know what a fillibuster is?

I've seen a lot of people whine that "if Clinton had taken care of Osama when he had the chance, 9/11 wouldn't have happened."

First of all, that is most probably not true. Secondly, I won't even get into the whole CONGRESS-WOULDN'T-LET-HIM thing. My question is much simpler.

Let's say, for the sake of argument, that Bill Clinton is completely to blame for the fact that Osama bin Laden hates the U.S.

Does that mean there's no more terrorism? Does finding an American target for our blame (instead of what seems obvious to me - BLAMING THE GUYS WHO DID IT) solve something? If so, what?

I'd really like to understand what it is people think blaming Clinton accomplishes.

if so please explain why, what would it take to start a revolution, how to rally people to the cause and would you like to help/be involved. the government and whoever else who controls and dictates how we the general public/cattle live our lives are not worthy of being our "superiors" and i for one would like to be free. a motto is: any man should be able to do what he wants to do, aslong as i doesn't stop anyone else doing what they want to do.

I have been very interested in the upcoming Presidential election, but I am confused about these caucus states. Apparently they only caucus in a few states. Why is that? Who decides who gets to vote in these caucus', or do all the residents of Iowa, New Hampshire, etc get to vote. Do the winners of the caucus' then go on to the Primary? Why are the caucus states moving their dates up? What is the advantage?
If you are well educated on this process, could you please explain it to me?

Clinton bashers can leave now

Editor:

To those who have threatened to leave the country if Hillary Clinton won the presidency, you may as well leave now. It is likely to happen, and if you left now, we could once again be a country of loving, compassionate, non-judgemental, caring people.

The last of the 30 percent who still support the most damaging, inept, greedy, war-mongering, imperialistic president the world has ever known will be gone. You could even move to what was once the Soviet Union, where they're used to that type of leadership.

Paul To Keep Supremacist Donation
Usually when a candidate receives a campaign donation from a disreputable donor, the money either gets returned or donated to a charity. Ron Paul wants to be a maverick, however, so he will keep the $500 from Stormfront founder Don Black. Paul claims his own campaign as a charity, in a sense:
Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul has received a $500 campaign donation from a white supremacist, and the Texas congressman doesn't plan to return it, an aide said Wednesday.
Don Black, of West Palm Beach, recently made the donation, according to campaign filings. He runs a Web site called Stormfront with the motto, "White Pride World Wide." The site welcomes postings to the "Stormfront White Nationalist Community."

SO HOW DO YOU GUYS FEEL ABOUT RON PAUL, NOW???

....leaving you in dire straights and then sending his buddy to help you out by loaning your own money back?

This takes so deep thinking ability and the willingness to see outside the box.

But it is there if you want to see...

I hear over and over again the Bush is an idiot and he shouldn't have gone into Iraq. Well then tell me what should have he done instead? Should he have left Saddam in power? Should he have left Iraq as a breeding ground and training center for terrorism? I have heard no alternatives in fighting terrorism from the Democrats. Just shouting for Bush's head, even though they all voted for it.

On the 6th June 2001 Reuters News reported:

Britain is no longer a world power populated by affable eccentrics, but an isolated, insecure nation unable to care for its people, at least according to European commentators watching this week's general election. Several foreign commentators have seized on the campaign for a close look at Britain's quality of life and role in the world.
'The motherland of democracy and the centre of an empire that spanned a third of the world has become a state on the margins of Europe - with crumbling infrastructure and a standard of living that, experts say, can be compared at best with central Italy, except that the weather is worse'...
Stern magazine wrote. 'Welcome to cool Britannia'. Politicians admit that public health, transport and school education systems are second-rate compared with the EU average.

I wonder what type of action I can take against a parent who has accused me, a teacher for askning her child to follow directions in our parent pick up line.

The parent was trying to load her child in the wrong area and I asked her to pull up and told her son not to load there. She left a very nasty phone message in my classroom threatening my job with the school board for undermining her authority as a parent.

She was clearly in the wrong and I want to stop her from making calls like this to me or my employer again. What do I do?
