if so please explain why, what would it take to start a revolution, how to rally people to the cause and would you like to help/be involved. the government and whoever else who controls and dictates how we the general public/cattle live our lives are not worthy of being our "superiors" and i for one would like to be free. a motto is: any man should be able to do what he wants to do, aslong as i doesn't stop anyone else doing what they want to do.

poeple say domocracy is the best political system in the world, really it's a fas. look on it a simple way: we vote, majority wins, imagine 51% say yes 49% say no!!!
now you have 49% of the population unhappy and living under a dictatorship regime. am i right??
every person or orginization that you are able to vote for in this country DO NOT represent my views especiall ALL those in the house of commons/lords today, so I am an unheard person living under rules that I don't agree.......dictatorship
If you know british polotics you will know that every bill that gets pessed in the house of commons (people who are supposed to represent me) then gets sent to the house of lords and then they vote foe the bill....so all decisions are made by wealty lords not the poloticians. bull-s@#t all of it. so when is the revolution???????
I am young i'm 22 with not a single qualification because of what the systamatic educational regime has made me. but i'm self learnt not ignorant....

i'm neither a revolutionist or anarchist.
i'm just a guy whose life is defined by his past and whose past has been defined by others dictations. all i want to do is live a peaceful life without having to worry about where my next meal is coming from and if i'm going to have a roof over my head tonight! nothing else. but this government seems to have made decisions where good honest people have ended living a terrible struggle to live a happy life. so i have no respect for their autority and i wish to live MY life how I deem fit (which envolves not harming others). the only way is to either become a hermit and hope your not breaking the law so you don't get imprisoned????????????
or start a revolution!!! i choose the latter. so if you see me on t.v one day being executed for treason, you remember this, and don't take it lying down.maybe martyred as the first white english suicide bomber???. finish what guy fawkes couldn't. resistance to tyrianny is obediance to "god" praise allah

ahh bob t the death penalty for treason is back again because of the "terrorists" and crimes against the crown are again punishable by death, obviously you are a patriot and you may not have guessed i am to! i love my country and i love the idea of a monarchy but i hate the present monarchy and the system of government. men have to be governed it's animal nature, but the leader and the drones are equally important for one can't function without the other. i was in a crap schools aswell but my lack of education is not because of the school i went to, its because of the life i lived as a child, to being in poverty, abused, underappreciated and my potential being suppresed. i have read no political books or any revolutionary tactical books i am actually a deeply spiritual person with only concern for god and the welfare of my brethrens but as i already said resistance to tyrianny is obediance to god. so i must fight for my honour and resist to the bitter end.

bob t: well i appreciated your statement, your view is yours and my view is mine.you must understand that times havn't changed since the ancient days it's still barbaric, you step out of line of the rulers law and you get punished, it's just more subltle and sophisticated now adays that this dictatorship has got ordianary citezens thinking that it's o.k to punish people by spraying c.s gas in there face or beating them with batons or taking them in to a room and searching there body INSIDE and out or even so thats civilised huh??? well from your statement i have to aggree with keith .r some people of this country are too stupid to recognise that their civil liberties are slowly being taken away from them, it's unfortunate

I couldn't agree more, we should start the revolution now but it won't happen because most British are too stupid to see just how much of their basic human rights are being eroded and too spineless to do anything about it.

We have one of the best systems of Government in the world. What on earth are you talking about?
P.S. You are quite a confused person.
1. We do not live in a dictatorship. We live in a Republic and elect whoever we desire to Parliament to represent our views primarily on the basis of party affiliation. The terms of office of the party in power is limited and a general election must be held within 5 years from the last election which gives the electorate the power to remove the party from office. True democracy is impossible in a country of over 60 million people. It only worked (to a certain extent) in classical Athens due to its relatively small population.
What is your suggestion for a better system of Governance? What can you propose which our great constitutional reformers have missed?
2. What sort of freedom do you seek exactly? Freedom from government? Freedom to live your life in peace without arbitrary interference from the state. The former marks you out as an idealist whom has clearly read too many 'political' pamphlets aimed at people that absorb slogans such as 'Workers of the World Unite: You Have Nothing to Lose but Your Chains!' without thought. The latter is the foundation of the British legal system. The great 19th Century constitutionalist Dicey stated that citizens are free to do that which is not prohibited.
You are free to lead whatever life you wish in Britain provided that you do not commit unlawful actions. Unless you are engaging in criminal activities I really do not understand your point.
3. I had to raise an eyebrow at your claim that if you were to walk into a police station and proclaim anti-monarchy sentiments that you would be executed for treason. The death penalty was abolished in the 1960s and I do not believe that there have been any prosecutions for treason since the Second World War which dealt with Nazi collaborators. I doubt that the police could care less about an imbecile that has read the Communist Manifesto and Anarchist propaganda.
4. We are not 'ruled by Lords' as you put it. The House of Lords is the secondary legislative chamber of Parliament and can only review legislation and suggest amendments. Ultimate authority is vested in the House of Commons which, under the Parliament Acts, can force through any legislation it wishes against the will of the House of Lords. In any event, it is somewhat positive to have non-elected officials considering legislation as they are immune to the clamours of our largely ignorant - and easily led - population.
5. You have no-one to blame but yourself for your poor educational achievement. I attended an awful comprehensive yet worked hard and am now a corporate lawyer. My father is a manual labourer and my mother is a secretary so I hardly come from those ubiquitous elites that you talk so freely of. We live in a meritocracy where anyone, regardless of their background, can rise provided they have the necessary ability.
Hmmm, I could go on for longer but I really cannot be bothered rebutting any more of these pretentious 6th Former's arguments.

I Cried because I had no shoes,,,,,,,
Until I met a man who had no feet.
Your country owes you no more than it has already given you.
You have the right to openly dissent (which you have done) You have free speech and the freedom of religion.
You have the right to go live in another country that will fare you better,,,,,just don't make it the USA for we have enough people who want others to take care of them.

Yeah, go on, start a revolution. Who's going to lead it? You? From the motto you've come up with I've decided you aren't bothered about who does, as long as they don't bother getting in the way of anyone who wants to do anything.
You're actually an anarchist and you're too thick to realise it.

yes we should start it now, the elected goverment that we have at present has stopped to listening to the people that put them in office, yes we have the freedom of speech but, if the people in power dont listen or care what are we to do??
we have our elderly hungry and cold, homeless people on the streets, people being turned away from hospitals, people in our armed forces leaving in their droves, highest fuel and food cost's in europe, highest taxation than most of the rest of the world, and this once proud nation is still so great, do me a favour, we have become the poor relatives of this world. lets start putting the great back into great britain.
