I would like to cut foreign aid and war and have a period where the US focuses on itself and its people. Like the pre-WWI isolationism.

She goes by the way of polls, like her husband. She hasn't done anything herself without a poll - it's been proven. Her husband destroyed us for the past 8 years - Gore would have won if it weren't for Bill! Why do we like her so much? When will we learn that she is not the best thing for us at this point? Where is Liberman or ?

What are your opinions on what certain people said? And why do you think that? Who do you support and why?

Just asking around! :)

If one considers the dictators the USA has supported - Suharto, Saddam, Musharraf etc, how does it justify it? The US claims to be killing for freedom in Iraq (and killing civilians it is) yet props up dictatorship in Pakistan and supports torture around the world. Do you think a time will come when the US is seen as a joke and an enemy of freedom, as it is in much of the world including AUstralia and Britain?

the charge was bargined down from a felony to a gross misdomener. The officer said in general he was so bad on probation that they threw him out. He is scott free and is still even able to carrry firearms. Has any one heard of being dishonorably discharged from probation. I thought you generaly went to jail if you were a bad boy on probation. I know this is hard to fathom but this person is like the teflon don. The po did not call me I called him to keep up on the status of this person because he was a possible threat and I needed to know his status. I have the court document and it saye he was dishonorably discharged from pobation. The po said if he gets in trouble again probation will not be an option. the probation violations were drug related. This person was removed from his dwelling by a swat team on the original charges. I beleive you are correct go to jail and dont pass go but not in this case it is baffeling. he has been arrested again since then again for burgulary.(chg.dropp

Companies find any loophole they can not to pay on claims and never hold a cash value. Not only that you could pay over $800 a month and not be able to cancle if you are forced to sign a contract. At the end of paying all that money if you loose your job you have nothing to fall back on so why have insurance at all ? It seems to me you would do better if you could put that $800 a month in your pocket. What are your thoughts on this?

I think the candidates never answer honestly. they can't afford to say one wrong thing. But its hard for them because they are asked difficult questions.

I prefer that you not just say "none of them".

I really want to know if there is a candidate that you think is both "most winnable" and "truly frightening"?

A couple of the candidates are doing well by "uniting the hatred" that some Republicans have toward certain groups.

A couple of others are doing well by "flip-flopping" in order to seem moderate.

And a couple of them really are moderates but have just one or two REALLY bad ideas.

What do you, as a democrat, make of this mess?

I think this is a pretty controversial piece of legislation! Good discussion topic, I just want to know what you think. I live in California, and it's getting to be a pretty big deal over here. A lot of my classmates think that this law will not get passed (and I agree with them).

What do you think about the jailed UK teacher in Sudan?

KHARTOUM, Sudan - A British teacher in Sudan was convicted Thursday of the less-serious charge of insulting Islam for letting her pupils name a teddy bear "Muhammad," and was sentenced to 15 days in prison and deportation to Britain, one of her lawyers said.

Gillian Gibbons could have received 40 lashes and six months in prison in the case if found guilty of the more serious charge of inciting religious hatred and given the maximum penalty.

In America women have won ever major right given to man by law the right to vote, run for office, join the army, receive federal benefits for school and federal jobs. Yet the responsiblity of defending on this country only falls on men hands. Why arent women in america who complain for equal pay and equal rights not complain for this right. I think that the best people should fight for this country if needed. Also even if alot of women are not on the frontlines they can serve as tankers, pilots, and other combat jobs where physical ability is not an issue.

This just happened to me. My house is so called protected by a alarm and monitoring comany. Well certain items were taken and because what was taken and were it was located I feel strongly about who did it. I know they did not have long to get much but did get a particular item and left more valuable things untouched. I want to know how I can get police to put pressure on suspects and get to the bottom of this. Also if alarm and monitoring company cannot keep people out why am i paying them and are they liable in any way I have had a lot of problems with alarm not working properly. Alarm went off this time and they called me then police, should police not been called first. And finally if police not willing to do a good job on this then would a P.I. do any better?
