According to the ACLU, you are not required to identify yourself with ID to a police officer unless it is associated with a vehicle or traffic stop. The cops cant make you id yourself if they stop you on the street without probable cause of any crime. Recently states have passed laws claiming they have that right and you must id yourself if asked. How can they do that if this is a federal constitutional or bill of rights protection.

Over the years I have heard several people say the same thing about communism. They would say, "communism works on paper, you know." Iam not saying the folks I was talking to are communists, but when they would say that statment it seemed as if they actually think communism works and is a good thing. Does communism actually work "on paper" as they say? I just think it doesnt work at all, therefore that "paper" they are refering to is wrong. Am I wrong?

I REALLY miss being in the Coast Guard. I was discharged because of a problem i have with my knee. I have heard rumor it is possible for me to re-enlist. I dont quite understand how that would be possible. I don't remember the code on my dd-214 but it is a honarable discharge with medical listed under description. So i did get a fully honarable discharge. I was discharged back in february. I wouldn't mind going in the CG reserves but with my knee i dont think i would ever get through boot if i had to go to boot my run time is through the floor I basically only run now if i was in a burning building But i miss the military a lot.

Hey everyone,

I've recently been giving serious consideration to joining the Navy as a Musician. I completed my second year of music school back in May and I am a percussionist. I would like to know what happens after boot camp for musicians and what life is like for full enlistment. Also, I'd like to know about the pay scale. Thanks!

It seems like this race is shaping up to be a referendum on Hillary Clinton (much like 2004 was a referendum on George W. Bush). Even if Guilliani is nominated (and it apperas likely he will be) would conservatives really stay home rather than skip a chance to vote against Hillary Clinton? And isn't Guilliani more likely to resonate with the unaffiliated center?

A few years back I bought controlled-substance prescription diet pills from an online pharmacy and had no problems (they are no longer in business though for whatever reason). They worked fine and weren't laced with LSD or agent-orange or anything. I'm just wondering how narcotics can be bought so easily, legally.

On july 8th 1947 a ufo crashed onto a sheep ranch in Roswell N.M., 9 months later 9 children were born.Hillary Rodham, Albert Gore jr., John F. Kerry, William J. Clinton, Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Feinstein, Charles E. Schumer, and Barbara Boxer.
Does this have anything to do with thier pro-illegal stance?
Does this have anything to do with aliens and sheep?

I'm about to turn 40 years old and I am debating if I should take a chance on joining the army. I have a 3 year old at home but the wife could handle things better with me half way around the world. I don't need to make a lot of money but need to have life insurance if I go. Any knowledge on what the army gives you if you die in combat? Also any other pitfalls. How long would i have to sign up for. I have a masters degree in telecommunications and I am in fair physical shape.

The politicians in Washington are doing nothing to bring gas prices down. They are letting the gas companies steal from us, American citizens. The gas companies also clam that the oil supplies are going away fast. Well I have to say that we have enough oil in the world to last at least 200 more years at the pace we are going. How do you all, the American Public think about this.

I am currently in the USAF DEP but have come to wanting to leave the DEP program to pursue a college degree on my own. Now i asked my Tech Sergeant what kind of discharge i would get for leaving while in DEP but he stated he wasn't at liberty to tell me. Now i contacted the Advisors for the USAF recruitment and they told me it would be a DEP discharge with a code put into prevent further processing with the USAF. Is there anything i can do since my Recruiter made a blatant lie about information i am entitled to?

are known to be joined at the hip with Iran, does this not make the shiites part of the axis of evil?
If we had supported Iraq before in the war against Iran, then why were we so worried about Saddam repressing the shiites?
Shouldn't we want the shiites to be repressed and seperated from Iran?
Hasn't this become an evident truth since the main enemy our soldiers are facing now are the shiite insurgency?
