i would say New England is the most patriotic. that's where it all began, that's where the rebellion began, that's the region most of the founding father's are from, and that was the region with the fewest loyalists
as for least patriotic, i'd say the south -- no debate there. not only did they abandon the union in the 19th century, but they still show their pride in their attempt at treason by waving their confederate flags in this day and age. not only that, but during the rev. war, the south had the highest per capita percentage of loyalists.
(by the way, i'm not saying NE because i live there. i don't live anywhere near there)
