how sad is that

2007-11-04 11:42:27 · 15 answers · asked by Anonymous in Politics & Government Politics

Washington Post

Wilson's assertions -- both about what he found in Niger and what the Bush administration did with the information -- were undermined yesterday in a bipartisan Senate intelligence committee report.

The panel found that Wilson's report, rather than debunking intelligence about purported uranium sales to Iraq, as he has said, bolstered the case for most intelligence analysts. And contrary to Wilson's assertions and even the government's previous statements, the CIA did not tell the White House it had qualms about the reliability of the Africa intelligence that made its way into 16 fateful words in President Bush's January 2003 State of the Union address.
The report turns a harsh spotlight on what Wilson has said about his role in gathering prewar intelligence, most pointedly by asserting that his wife, CIA employee Valerie Plame, recommended him.

I see that some liberals here are still spewing their lies. How sad is that?

And I thought the liberals ( sympathizers of Islamoterrorism) were supposed to be creative. All they do is attack over and over again with the same lies and spew the lies throughout the media.

Why do you think Bush is so unpopular? Because CNN (communist news network) keeps on spewing the constant lies of the liberals.

The Defense attorney's proved in Court that Plame lied. She testified under oath in court that she never recommended her husband. The Defense entered exhibits in her own hand writing and memo's of the recommendation she gave her husband. In any court if you perjure yourself, none of your testimony is considered reliable.

This is the same thing that happened to Scooter Libby. He was given a trial and convicted for allegedly lying to Federal Investigators. The Special Prosecutor that investigated White Water stated in his report to Congress "Hillery Clinton was less than truthful with Federal Investigators". Where was the outrage from the left that was heaped on Libby. Double standards. If the left lies, and cheats and take bribes, like Jefferson, the means justifies the end.

The facts are clear: the Bush administration revealed Plame was a CIA operative to discredit her husband who had the temerity to disagree with Cheney, et al. That was treason and what is sad is how people ignore the absolute stupidity and venality of this administration.

What about the forged signatures from nigerian officials who had not worked in the government for years? What about the convicted Felon Scooter Libby? Get your facts straight.

The facts show that they told the truth and that the person who lied was the felon in Cheney's office that Bush rescued from Jail.

the insane cons think that novak is a big hero for outting a cia operative who worked on weapons of mass destruction in the middle east.

as an odd ironic twist, those same insane cons don't seem to draw any parallel to her life's work being destroyed by dick cheney and the intelligence failure concerning weapons of mass destruction that led to the quagmire in iraq.

like this sort of 'success?'

then keep voting for the repubes.

if you don't, then don't.

Now, why in the world would she write a dang book about the issue if she didn't adamantly believe in what she was saying?
That wouldn't make sense.

Typical...even when I make perfect sense...the conservative gives me a thumbs down because it's not the outrageous answer he was looking for.
Don't worry, I am used to it by now.
