Cheney will never die. There is probably a factory somewhere that is mass producing clones of him so that he can torture Americans for the rest of our existence.
Seriously, if the President and Vice-President die, the Speaker of the House becomes the next one.
If the Vice-President dies, but the President is still alive, then the President nominates someone else and they must go through confirmation hearings.

The President still is in charge and the president might have to pick someone.I hope this helps you out some. Might be the speaker of the house that takes over. I would say. God Bless you.

The president appoints a new vice president.
If both the president and vice president die, it goes to the Speaker of the House, then to the Cabinet.

If only the VP dies, the President is still in charge.
If you are asking who is next in line for the Presidency after the VP, it is the Speaker of the House.

Nobody. Should such a tragedy come to pass, the President would have to nominate a VP, and said nominee would have to be confirmed by the Senate.
