are talking about change. Does that mean a Democrat will be a shoo-in?

A Conservative candidate is being chastised simply for saying that he agrees with the conclusion of Enoch Powell's much mis-interpreted speech to the effect that unrestricted immigration would change the face of Britain forever. It is clear to anyone that Britain has changed and is continuing to change as it accommodates to the influx of more and more people from overseas. Why are we no longer entitled to have honest opinions and express them? Isn't a candidate who is forthright about his views preferable to one who is not prepared to voice them? http://uk.news.yahoo.com/rtrs/20071104/tpl-uk-britain-immigration-conservative-ed79be6_2.html

In the 20th century, they discovered:

a right to be paid for not working
a right to medical care for the elderly
a right to medical care for the poor
a right to paid retirement

it's looking like they might soon discover a right to health care for all. what other perversions of our founders' intent will libs discover in this century?

I have been enlisted for 8 years, and I am currently an E-5, hopefully to be an E-6 soon. I am 28 years old, and I wish to to an officer. I am close to an associates degree, and I was wondering what program I should pursue to gain commision. I am concerned about age, because I still most likely need to gain my ba unless sta-21 is a possibility. I do not know about sta-21 because of age limits. Please advise, and don't tell me to ask my career counseler because she is an idiot.

I've always thought that the sole reason for American citzens who are pro illegal was greed for cheap labor, But in view of the recent incident of the school teacher who ran away with the 13 year old who happen to be an illegal immigrant, I not think that maybe, just maybe its sex that is the motivation for many of American who have taken this pro illegal stance....

Do you think the psychology that allowed the Americans to happily commit a genocide of AT LEAST 2 million Native Americans correlates with their attitude to the Palestinians?

(ie might is right - the Israelis took the land by force and that's all that matters)

Is it legal for the management of a hotel to remove an entire section of advertising from each and every Yellow Pages directory placed in their guest rooms simply because the management of the hotel does not like the (totally legal) service being advertiseed?

In this case, it's the Escort Services ads that they've removed, but it might just as well be tattoo parlours, abortion services, divorce lawyers, gun dealers, mosques -- can the management of a hotel that accepts and makes available Yellow Pages directories modify them before making them available to their guests? And if so, do they have an obligation to inform their guests of this prior to or at the time of booking?

Son was killed in August. Memeber of church for 1 year. I've been member for 8. Requested services to be held @ church was told couldn't. Have had no communication with Pastor despite several attempts for just 5 mins. just to understand why we were just thrown away. Another church and Pastor allowed me in to have funeral services. I know doctors and hospitals have the American Medical Boards? Who or what do churches go through to answer to their bad choices and actions?

OK, indian reservations are immune to US laws because they are considered sovereign nations. They have their own police, govt, laws, etc...So, why don't they legalize Mary Jane, and why doesn't the US require a passport to visit a reservation?

Its been proven that most politicians are greedy self centered individuals who are out for themselves. They are the cause of wars and poverty with very little interest in the environment.
They have no educational qualifications that make them a better choice than any average joe on the street. Is it time that we demand more out of the people who are running for office?
