Do you think the psychology that allowed the Americans to happily commit a genocide of AT LEAST 2 million Native Americans correlates with their attitude to the Palestinians?

(ie might is right - the Israelis took the land by force and that's all that matters)

As some of the other answers say look at history.

The early settlers of America murdered over 13,000,000 indians, in order to steal their land and resourse.
Europe didn`t want the jews back from germany at the end of the second world war, so they dumped the lot of them on the Arabs and jews, who were already living in Palestine, in peace with one another. America only took rich jews, and their families. They refused entry to all others. They even sent a boat load of poor jews back to Germany, at the begining of the war. Only one of those jews survived. Perhaps the jewish americans use this as leaverage to get their way, which most certainly they do.
America is made up of the criminals thrown out of Europe, and the greedy who followed when they realised that there was riches to be had. So the genetic base is a greedy people with no regard for others or their property.

I think this point has been rather taboo. I think Americas colonial history in terms of the former Indian lands does play an innate role in their attitudes to Israel. I think some of them see parallels with their colonising ancestors who fought wars with the Indians. In this analogy, the Palestinians fill the role of the Apaches, Sioux etc. What needs to be remembered though, is that this is 2007 and that what was considered acceptable behaviour 200 yrs ago is not now - or should not be.

Israel controls America as the Jewish communities have the largest financial muscle in America. When Israel was created the Jews were allotted 52% of Palestine, they went on an ethnic cleansing spree and also murdered British troops who tried to protect the Palestinians. Due to European guilt over the Holocaust and Israel's clout in America the Palestinan plight had blind eyes and deaf ears turned to it. so they blackmail both sides of the american political establishment with threats of giving all their money to the other side if they dont support israel.

And the Palestinians? Again, this is a subject you should read up on. We have done quite a lot for the Palestinians. Who do you think is trying to broker a fair settlement between the two sides...And let us not forget that its the Palestinians that lob hundreds of rockets into Israel every month..sometimes every day.

No the Palestinians ran when they were thinking that their Arab brothers were coming to kill every man woman and child. The Palestinians did not want to stand next to the people they have lived with all their lives just because they were Jews. The Jews have lived in that land of over 5000 years. It was after they Nazis were in Europe that they moved in mass to that land. Before that time very few lived there. It was Israel that has made Palestine green again.

You can not just "quote" the parts of history that fit your agenda. Also look at the Aztec, the Mayan's...not to mention how Mohammed taught the Muslims that Europe and Asia really belonged to the Muslims hundreds of years before the Crusades.

i think americans are generally fair people, its jus at the moment jewish lobbies such as AIPAC have a tight stranglehold on US foreign policy, the palestinins will continue to stuggle (unless israel strikes Iran, iran will fire back !)
