Doesn't theTorah say, " Thou shalt not steal." Doesn't it also say that the people they claim God gave the land to were only tenants living in the land based on their obedience to the Torah? Since they failed miserably and got themselves evicted, shouldn't they be thankful for what land the U.N. gave them and stop stealing Palestinian land while they pretend they want peace?

A quote from an Israeli who knows the truth and speaks out against his government:

Rabin really wanted to move forward towards peace. Slowly-slowly, with stubborn haggling, but also with consistency and persistence. Olmert's aims are quite different. He wants a "peace process" that has no end - babbling, meetings, conferences, without any movement, while in the meantime the occupation is continuing, annexation is creeping forward, settlements are enlarging and the hopes and chances for the two peoples are evaporating.

The question was concerning the state of NY, the state she represents. And why is she mad at Tim Russert.? Did she assume she owned him like the others at NBC? What was with Brian's question about Romney asking Obama about mistakingly refering to him as Osama? I have heard many Dems do the same thing. He sounded so indignant.

My boyfriend was shot during a home robbery. He was shot three times in the lower abdomen and had to be helicoptered to the hospital and had to have emergency surgery to remove the bullets, repair intestines, and stop the bleeding. He's had to go back to the hospital three times to have his stomach pumped because of problems caused by the wounds from the bullets and surgery. He is only 23 and does not have insureance for the bills. The rat bastard that shot him is in jail now trying to weasle his way out of prision and my boyfriend is getting thousands of dollars worth of medical bills added to his credit. We want to by a house together after we're married but I'm worried about how these bills are affecting his credit and our future plans for a home together. Is he going to be stuck with all these bills and negative affects on his credit because some crackhead was desperate to get some cash so he could have his fix?

$1600 disappeared! What should we do???
My husband and I were both paid on Thursday, by direct deposit, and it did go through, and was reflected in the balance since yesterday during the day.

This morning, though, $1600 is unaccounted for. Our available balance went from almost $1700 to $31.54 overnight.

Other than about $300, all of the money we've used for spending cleared, and was reflected in the $1700 balance. So the lowest our balance SHOULD have been is about $1400.

We can't find a number to call to our bank, there is only one branch, and they are not open again until Monday morning.

I'm worried someone got the number and has been using it, but I don't know where they would have got it from.

What usually happens in these situations? Will most banks write it off, or are we pretty much screwed, trying to last 2 weeks on $31, unable to make rent or our car payments, not to mention any spending, daycare, gas, groceries, etc?

Really long story gonna try to make it short. I used to live in a house with a bunch of people who constantly partied. We were going on a trip to Europe and a plane ticket was purchased on ex friends credit card as a GIFT (obviously in my name) I wasnt even working at the time how could I pay for it? Well I found out I was pregnant shortly after with my fiancees baby and obviously couldnt go on the trip. I moved out of the house shortly after (there was no lease involved) because I wanted my baby to have a good life and that isnt a place to have a child in. Well now he's claiming I said i'd pay for the ticket - I didn't. Tried to work out a deal with him that i'd pay for whatever didn't get refunded since he could get a partial refund but he never got the refund (he had to do it since it was his credit card). He's mad me and my fiancee moved out and is now trying to sue me for the ticket. The whole case is hear say but i'm so upset - I never said i'd pay for it and I can't afford it!

If there is a seperation of church and state, why does the government say homosexuals can't get married? Also, the Bill of Right and Constitution does not bar this courtship, so why does our government have the right to tell citizens what do do with there own partner? It seems to me that the US Government is trying to police the morals of what THEY believe in, and not what people actually want. I am not sure this is what the majority of the American Pubic really wants in our elected officals. They should not be enforcing the bible, but yet they should be upholding our rights to be individuals. What do you think?

A friend of mine was at a bank opening a new account. As he sat in the lobby, he noticed a rolled up paper that looked a lot like $ laying on the floor against the wall. He got up and walked over and picked it up and stuck it in his pocket. When he went out to his car, he was shocked to find it was $600, all $100s rolled up.

That night he called me all excited until I burst his bubble. I asked him, what if this had been some poor old ladies rent or grocery money. I told him he should call the bank and the police to see if anyone had reported it.

The bank said nobody had reported it. Only my friend told the bank he found it in the parking lot.

When he called the police, he mentioned finding it in the lobby and the officer said technically he could be charged with bank robbery. My friend flipped out and turned the money into the police. They said after 30 days it would be his. 30 days he goes in and the police say someone claimed it. Would not tell him who or how.

this is the situation...i received toll violations that equal 470 dollars from the state of Illinois and the violations were under mine and my moms name because she owns my car. she is filing bankruptcy and my mom's bankruptcy lawyer told me not to pay the violations because he will include them in the bankruptcy.

i thought it was against the law to put fines from the state in a bankruptcy. is that correct or incorrect?

My name is - and I am running for Student Council. I am
dedicated, responsible, and enthusiastic. These are three words that describe me, and three reasons why you should vote for me. I cannot promise that if I am elected we will be allowed to chew gum or have no homework. But I can listen to what you, the students have to say, and pass it on to the faculty. I will try my best to meet any student requests. If that isn’t good enough, then I am not the person to elect. The only promise I can make is that I will try my hardest to help you, the students, have a memorable school year. Some ideas I have to improve the school are: more fundraisers. I believe that I am qualified to represent our school because I get good grades.

I feel as though I would be a good representative for the Mrs. Robinson’s class because I listen to everyone’s opinion and make intelligent decisions that would benefit the class and the school as a whole. If I am elected, I will try to make Highland Creek Ele
