each state has the right to legally charge a person for committing a crime in their state, all states have the rights and the duty to protect their citizens from those who willingly break the law, this case is no different, the state that has the charges pending should gain custody of the person who fled. this also keeps the same crime from reoccurring in a new state by the same offender.

This case dates back to 2003. What was the outcome? Did the state or the parents win? Did the child survive? How do YOU feel about the whole thing?

NO, I DON'T THINK SO. PARENTS RIGHTS TO DECIDE WHAT'S BEST FOR THEIR CHILDREN'S HEALTH SHOULD BE MORE IMPORTANT THAN STATE'S RIGHTS.
