Once you turn 16, go and talk to the Air Force with your parents. You can join the Army when your 17, not sure about the Air Force. You also can go to basic training between your junior and senior year during the summer time and get paid for it in the Army. You really need to talk to all the branches of service. You will be very surprised at all the different opportunities that you have in the military.

well first off you need to be at least 17 then with a parental waiver you can join but for all points you may have to wait till your 18. Go to the recruiter and tell them what you want to do in the air force, they will give you the ASVAB test which will judge you general knowledge on a bunch of subjects then they will tell you your GT score (this is important) and then you go to MEPS and they will give you a physical exam and from there you will talk to a carreer councelor who will tell you what jobs you can get with your physical limitations and GT score (if you are in good shape and get a GT of about 110 your good for most jobs).

You need to be 17 and your parents can sign for you. You need to focus on school because the higher you score on the ASVAB the more jobs you will have available to you. Stay physically fit and out of trouble. You can be eligible for enlistment in April of your Junior year. Contact a recruiter about a month before that. Good Luck

Don't let people like yamqueen get to you. Most people who are cowards, or too ignorant to make heir own decisions based on fact, and for those excuses don't support the military in a constructive manner, often try to dissuade others from joining. If they convince you not to join, they feel they vindicated in their own ignorance and cowardice.

Contact your local Air Force Recruiter (see telephone book).
You may qualify for AF ROTC if you are still in school.

Don't join the Air Force!
Finish school. Go to college.
Get married. Do fun things safely in this country.
Joining the Air Force could get you killed or worse.
