During a propaganda tour through the US George Bush stopped off at a school to lecture the kids on the administrations policies. After he had finished he asked the kids for questions.

Young Bob jumped up first, "Mr President, I have three questions.
1. How did you manage to win the vote for the presidency when you had less votes than Gore?
2. Why do you want to attack Iraq without any reason?
3. Don't you think that dropping the A-Bomb on Hiroshima was the biggest ever terror attack in history?"
Just at that moment the school bell rang for the break and the kids all walked out.

When they got back from the break George Bush once again asked the kids for questions.
This time young Joey jumped saying, "Mr President, I have 5 questions.
1. How did you manage to win the vote for the presidency when you had less votes than Gore?
2. Why do you want to attack Iraq without any reason?
3. Don't you think that dropping the A-Bomb on Hiroshima was the biggest ever terror attack in history?"
4. Why did the school bell for the break go 20 minutes earlier than usual?
5. Where's Bob?????"

My hubbby is a marine. He wanted to get me a wrist corsage to wear the the ball. In my opinion, it is a sweet idea. However, I have came across "rules" for the ball on the internet that say it is not a good idea. These rules wer enot made by the Marine Corps (probably a wife or girlfriend).
Here is the link

Since basically the only 2 ways to solve social security taxes are a.) either raise taxes or b.) reduce the amount income one receives, what would you rather do?

Would you rather pay more taxes now or cut the amount of income retirees would receive?

But then, when asked to quote the law, the treaty, the chapter, paragraph, or line of the law and the authority to enforce the law...all you get from them is...crickets chirping?

Why do so many Y!A Libs use the phrase "International Law", especially when referring to the actions of opposing political parties, and then give no reference to any "law" other than their own opinion?

My son signed on for five years, he was paid an enlistment bounus of $6,000. when he completed A school. He ran into some trouble and was discharhed with an "Other than Honorable". He served 22 of 60 months

The package of papers he was given included travel orders, DD214, evaluation's, but nothing about repayment of that bonus, although he said, they told him he would have to pay it back. If he needs to repay this, should'nt there of been some information in this package saying how much he owed, what the payment options were, where to send the payment and so forth?

Any info appericated.

Thanks

The American public is overwhelmingly against bush and the entire Republican party for that matter. It seems logical that the more the Military supports bush (with stupid slogans about freedom of speech) the less the public will trust the military.

If you truly believe that then was it OK for Jesus to be tortured the way he was before he died on the cross? Or for that matter the way the early Christians were tortured by the Romans because the Roman Government believed that the Christians were trying to destroy their way of Life?

Torture is wrong no matter who you are torturing. We are better than this.

I wouldn't put it past him to try to pull something like this. I heard rumors that he was trying to make it to wear a president could be in office for more than two terms but saw nothing to confirm this. If you have any articles on this they would be appreciated. I pray he doesn't try this. 1/20/09 BUSH'S LAST DAY!...It'd be nice if he was impeached and thrown out of office before then.
