you still avoid calling her on it? Why are you so afraid of her? Do you just love Bill so much you're willing to compromise your journalistic integrity and give her a free pass??? Exposing Bush is highly commendable but Hillary needs to be treated the same.

I'm all for anything that helps prevent more young, single mothers on welfare. Obviously parents keep failing at keeping their children from getting pregnant. Even the hardcore Christians' children do this.

Im an FRG leader and my husband's unit will be home in about a week after doing a 15 month deployment to Iraq. We (the wives) are decorating the barracks, we have been doing fund raising all year long, we have purchased new shower curtains, towels and bed sheets for our single soldiers we are going into the rooms in a few days and start making beds and hanging the shower curtains. We also bought chips and soda for each room and shampoo, and soap...as a single soldier is there anything else you would like to see if it were you coming home to your barracks room (please dont say a girl or beer etc. because we arent buying those things LOL) we are also hanging welcome home signs up all through the barracks...we want to make our single soldiers feel just as appreciated as our husbands do and have them go back to the barracks room and relax

If I feel that I am part of a harmed class, who would I contact to generate interest in generating a suit? Specifically, a suit against local governments. Is this possible? Is there an organization that specializes in this?

I was just notified that a question I asked in Politics was yanked.
It was a tongue in cheek question about a child reaching the age of reason and realizing his parents were democrats, should the child run as far from home as possible.
Naturally, this was in jest. I believe one of the problems facing this country is we're losing our ability to laugh at ourselves. The democrats preach free speech until it steps on their toes.
Do you agree with the question being yanked?

I ask because according to the alarmists, Katrina and Rita were a result of global warming, and I am sure that the next active hurricane season will be as well.

How do these alarmists reconcile invoking the all powerful global warming every time a hurricane hits, but conveniently become quiet every time their predictions fall short?

Is changing the character from a Marine to an international soldier an insult to Mitchell Paige, whose only condition for putting his face on the toy was that G.I. Joe always remain a United States Marine?

This is not apolitical event like politicans say hey I can save the day and get some votes here, these people are serious and that means there is a real threat.

This to all of those who voted for Democrats so Geroge Bush would be impeached and we'd get out of Iraq. I ask this because I've heard so many in here say impeach Bush and get out of Iraq. Well the Democrats control Congress and they aren't even considering impeaching Bush and for all their posturing about Iraq haven't made any serious moves to bring the troops home. So will you vote for those incumbent Democrats who aren't doing what you want them to OR someone else?

I'm not saying you have to vote for a Republican. But are you going to push for a NEW Democrat?

An atom bomb takes high technology and a lengthy development process. Given enriched uranium reactor capability-that bomb is still years off. The real concern is allowing them access to highly radioactive enriched uranium. A couple of pounds of this material, finely divided and released into any world city, would kill hundreds of thousands--and render those areas uninhabitable for a number of years. No explosion is needed, the simple lethality of the highly radioactive materials does the job. Radiation posioning is a very agonizing and nasty way to die. Considering the ties to terrorist groups, the expressed desire to wipe the Israeli regime from the pages of history, the little display they did last week--this concerns me. I personally think allowing Iran nuclear technology should be avoided at all costs. Military action may be a bad choice--doing nothing and allowing it to happen would be a worse choice. Comments?

Regarding the war and the Patriot Act?

2007-10-30 03:05:15 · 14 answers · asked by Anonymous in Politics

I know this has been asked but I have not seen an answer that really answers this. I almost fell over at the grocery store when I made my purchases. I buy the exact same things and this week my usual $80 turned into $110.

It took my over 10 years with specialized training to go from $3.35/hour to $7.00/hour. Now these kids fresh out of school make almost that? 2 months ago the company I work for DECREASED maximum pay to cover the new hire wage increase. Does that make sense? I can't go any higher?

My budget was already in the red zone due to the fuel hike. (rob Peter to pay Paul kind of thing). If I didn't need internet for work, I would drop that too!

Even my kids noticed 2 years ago we had money, now we don't. My daughter actually asked me if I had a drug or gambling problem! She didn't understand how we went from doing okay to broke all the time. I showed her my check and the bills and yesterdays receipts. "Wow" she said "how did that happen?" You tell me!

1) Believe in free enterprise? All I hear on YA from you goof balls is that profit = bad. If someone wants to buy or listen to something (talk radio), shouldn't the be allowed? Isn't this a free country?

2) Believe in free speech? Again all I hear on YA from you goof balls is that talk radio = bad. Aren't these people citizens of the united states? Don't they have the same freedoms that you and I have to express our minds. They provide a product that people want to either buy or listen to. That falls under Free Enterprise.

Just because you don't like what these individuals to say, what right do you have to ban it?

Liberal talk radio failed. I listened to it for a week. All they did was bash Bush the whole time and didn't offer any solutions or proposals. Therefore it failed under the free enterprise system.

Bush and Co. (and most Americans) see a rising threat in Iran. The parties differ, though, in their ideas on how to nip that threat in the bud.

Some say the threat of a military strike will keep them in line. But many liberal Democrats say "we need to talk" with Iran rather than fight with them.

Hmmm... maybe. But when Iran's President Ahmadinejad was invited to speak at the liberal Columbia University. He was insulted in his introduction and frequently thereafter. Is this the liberals' idea of "taking" with Iran? How can they see this as helpful? Why would Ahmadinejad want to participate in such "talks."

Have Democrats given away the White House in '08 over this issue?

Discuss.
