Yes and cons are going to have to pay for them.

Only those who have no other alternatives.
Most of us will never have an abortion, whether it is legal or illegal, expensive or free, restricted or available at the 7-11.
Price isn't the issue. The issue is whether or not someone else has more right to decide what happens inside my own body than I do.
Your question implies that if there were just a price break we'd all be lining up in the streets to get one of our own, like the latest fashion accessory. (Shaking my head at your delusional "logic.") Your question is simply an invitation to rant.

If we somehow ever get universal health care in the way you think we will the answer is yes. Fortunately no one is proposing that. Under the plan the Democrats are proposing her insurance company and doctor in consultation with her would decide. Yes, I said insurance company. You see, the proposal is AFFORDABLE, not FREE health care and when the term universal is used these days it generally denotes free healthcare.

Yes, at that the safest thing. If Abortions were made too expensive or even worse illegal people would still have Abortions, just not at registered doctors offices instead at back street clinic or where possible traveling abroad. This has been shown to be the case in every country that has banned abortions.
Other problems would occur like infant mortality rates would continue to rise (America already has the worst infant mortality rates in the developed world), Overdoses, "Accidents", etc would rise as people try to force a miscarriage.
The once if the child is born levels of child neglect would rise as parents who didn't want the child feel stuck with it. Number of children in orphanages rise causing states to raise taxes to pay for them.

this is not a Health Care issue. Just like plastic surgery is not a health care issue,or liposuck. Healthcare is for health only.
To use it for other "vanity items "(an abortion is performed "IF" it is obvious that it threatens the life of the mother) but for the reason of " I changed my mind, or it was unplanned, or I don't have the finances to care for it" is not a medical reason.....so too the reasons for plastic or lip.
It is a waste of every donors dollars and would insure the collapse of the plan "tute suite"

That should help fix poverty, eh? Just stop the poor from reproducing!
Do you think this will fit in with Edward's "mandatory" preventative care?

No such thing as a free abortion. The doctor is going to charge for it, and no one has the right to reach into someone else's pocket to pay for their own bad decisions.

"Universal Health Care?" "Free?" "Abortions?" Guess you missed the part about this being a Christian based government and society (abortion is an abonimation in the eyes of God) and a CAPTILAIST based economy. Nothing and I do mean NOTHING is "Free." Your universal healthcare is a farse and is socialist. It undermines capitalism and therefore (I pray) never happens.

My ex got knocked up by a married man and her abortion was free... His wife was preggo too and she coughed up the dough to execute the kiddo pronto.
They can work out and pay for an abortion on his $80,000/yr salary but he couldn't buy his own damn wheel barrow.
Piss me off!
