...in the First and Second World Wars would have agreed to put their lives on the line if they had have known that the Labour Party would betray them years later by denying the British people their democratic right to a vote on the EU Constitution? Is this what they fought for?

Radical Hispanic separatist organization MEChA ("Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan") is taking responsibility for setting the wildfires in California, confimed Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. California officials received a letter earlier today containing photographs of individuals holding Molotov cocktails, then throwing them into dry brush. The faces of the individuals appeared to have been digitally distorted.

Also included was a rambling manifesto, stating that the reason for the act of arson was that "Aztlán belongs to indigenous people, the Chicanas and Chicanos of Aztlán. We are sovereign and not subject to a foreign culture."

Orange County Fire Battalion Chief Kris Concepcion told CNN that the pattern of wildfires definitely indicates arson.

"The reason we think it is [arson] is because we found multiple points of origin," Concepcion said. "... Our investigators have confirmed that this is, in fact, arson."

Concepcion said evidence indicated the arsonists wanted the fire to grow rapidly.

A $70,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to the arrest of those responsible for setting the fire. No suspects have been identified, though they are probably brown.

The state established a toll-free arson tip line at 800-540-7085. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said anyone convicted of arson would be dealt with harshly.http://www.cnnheadlienews.com/2007/US/10/25/fire.mecha/index.html

Just like the experts say, Vietnam was a proxy war fought in a small foreign country because of the great differences of the superpowers. The superpowers know that they don't want war in their own country and they also don't want to destroy the world, so they fight out these smaller by comparison wars. Isn't this actually another showdown of power with our friends the Russians again?

I met this dude, and he's 14, surprisingly, despite how he acts and how tall he was. I'm 16, almost 17, and he really likes me and I sorta have a soft spot for him. But I think I like him in a friendship sorta way, you know? But I don't know... I don't want to hurt his feelings, nor do I want to go to jail, lol... help, please? =(

Why bite the hand that feeds you??? Every other post deals with utter hatred of corporate America. Is this not the American dream? Every large company started small. If you are employed, then why hate the employer? You play by THEIR rules not yours. Remember they employ you, not you to them. They have no obligation tohire anyone. Do self employed people have obligaitons to hire thousands of helping hands, becuase those folks NEED jobs themselves? No! Then why hold protests when a company downsizes?!?!? Did you fools not realize the idealized business is large corporations, they provide stability, they provide jobs pay more taxes in a week than you do in a lifetime or responsible for your comfortable standard of living. They keep inflation low! Yet many liberals and moddies have such discontent over them. Is this merely a representation of modern day bourgousie class warfare?

You commies had your day in the sun, you failed, get over it, and get the hell out of the way of corporation

A fleeing criminal escaping the scene of a minor crime is caught by a police dog. In the process of being chewed up by the dog, he pulls a gun and puts a round right between its eyes.
Should he be charged with murder or homicide of a police officer? Or is he duilty of destruction of public property because the dog is just that; like the leash and collar that he's wearing. Give me reasonswhy you believe one way or the other.

You guys can read, right?

There is little evidence of the government of Iran directly hurting our troops in Iraq (feel free to provide some if you came across any), only allegations, but even so, if we bomb Iran there will be retaliation. They will send bombs (not nuclear, they are years away from even the prospect of capability of nuclear weapon production) to Israel, and can target any spot on that country. Our soldiers in Iraq will be directly targeted and then all of the Iranian citizens who oppose their government now and don't despise America, will unite with their military theocracy against us. And let's see, tens, if not hundreds of thousands will die. Withing six months to under a year, the nuclear energy technology will be back up unless we round up all the nuclear scientists.

So, would bombing not cause more trouble and instability, than diplomacy?
