Abortion is definitely murder. Because it is killing an unborn child and it violates the law of God on "thou shall not kill." The death penalty however is not murder as those in authority exacting the death penalty are representatives of God. Read Romans 13:1-6. War with its atrocities is murder and crime. It is a great evil in the eyes of God and a great stench in God's nostrils. Peace will only be achieve in this world when the Prince of Peace--Jesus Christ will come back. (Isa. 9:6)

Oh...please dont get me started on this one!! Abortion is murdering an innocent baby that had no reason for it, that baby dont deserve it...it deserves a chance at life...war and the death penanlty is still murder but it is deserved...these people are criminals and people that make the world a bad place. Rapist, murder,...all of them people deserve it completely. If someone you loved was raped or murdered you would want to see them fry! But...there is no excuse for killing an inocent baby.

death penalty is the governments self defense against a criminal who is an ongoing danger to the populace, it was invented when jails were not 100% secure, an a murder had a chance to exscape and kill again. war is a nations self defense agaisnt a nation percieved as a threat to ourselves or an ally. it is only permissable to act in vioplance, in self defense or in defense of soemone who can not defend themselves ♥

The death penalty is different as it deals with people who are guilty. Citizens getting killed in a war, and the unborn are innocent.

Sparticus logical again!
I agree that it is a strange person who is in favour of early abortion but also against war betwen adults.
I am a heartless republican, so I favour wars overseas against our joint enemies and no death penalty by our government against our own citizens at home.

There is a difference between person to person, and God through an authority. Romans 13 says:

13 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Therefore dyou must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake. For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing.

some people believe there is a soul in the body at conception
if that is true, then both are murder

question:
if a woman has a miscarriage, did God murder the baby?
for those who believe there is God.

No it isn't the same. Murder is the killing of an innocent where killing someone because they murdered isn't innocent and those that are the enemy in war is trying to kill you and therefore it's not murder to kill them for they are not innocent.
