Why bite the hand that feeds you??? Every other post deals with utter hatred of corporate America. Is this not the American dream? Every large company started small. If you are employed, then why hate the employer? You play by THEIR rules not yours. Remember they employ you, not you to them. They have no obligation tohire anyone. Do self employed people have obligaitons to hire thousands of helping hands, becuase those folks NEED jobs themselves? No! Then why hold protests when a company downsizes?!?!? Did you fools not realize the idealized business is large corporations, they provide stability, they provide jobs pay more taxes in a week than you do in a lifetime or responsible for your comfortable standard of living. They keep inflation low! Yet many liberals and moddies have such discontent over them. Is this merely a representation of modern day bourgousie class warfare?

You commies had your day in the sun, you failed, get over it, and get the hell out of the way of corporation

Unethical and corrupt companies CANNOT last. Enron, tyco and anderaon accoutning are all firms engaging in illicit behaviors that caught up with them, where are they now? Bankrupt. Isnt it wholly foolish to label EVERY company as corrupt becuase they simply have a lot of money?? AS a matter of fact, honest ethical companies are the ones that succeed in the business world. Think about it, if you had millions would you invest in a company that is dishonest?

Because the media always blames the corporations

There is a rabid hatred of corporations in the United States mostly because the big corporations have demonstrated that they are not - and this is my view of the 'majority opinion' - working in the best interest of the United States and its' people.

That's oversimplifying the situation, of course, it's basically what the problem is.

Let me do this by example:

(1) WAL-MART importing toys from CHINA, knowing full well that the toys have higher-than-allowed levels of led.

(2) CITICORP: Exporting jobs (call centers, etc) overseas and buying junk loans (junk quality mortgages).

(3) CAR COMPANIES: exporting manufacturing jobs and making every effort to drive down union wages until the wages break the unions.

(4) Oil/Gas companies: THESE companies are among the worst. They are making OBSCENE profits and yet bitching and moaning about environmental laws that are intended to keep our environment cleaner (and cooler) than it would otherwise be. They are fighting the CAFE (Corporate Average Fuel Efficiency) ratings - which means the average full efficiency of all of their makes of cars and trucks put together - even though they have had the technological ability to do so for many yeras.

There are, of couse, other reasons to hate the 'fortune 500'. I've only scartched the surface.

I would take a look at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) webpage and then at the Libertarian Convention webpage.

Corporations only have as much power as they do because they're protected by the laws and by government. Yet they evade taxes, commit murder, break labor laws, and relocate outside of the USA whenever it's convenient for them. Allying yourself with corporate America is like trying to keep a tiger as a pet. It will behave if it wants to, and if it doesn't want to it'll bite your head off.

Why should I support corporations if they're not doing anything to help me? And if they're hurting me, I'd just as soon burn down the CEO's houses and use their children for fertilizer. If corporations start harming society, then they should be prepared to have society take revenge upon them, and "right" and "wrong" doesn't come into it. They will behave themselves or we will crush them and pick our teeth with their bones.

IMedical, electricity, are basic needs for americans. Not to mention if you get really sick. When you have a monopoly on something and you keep raising prices but nobody's making more money. Thats a problem. I just don't believe in insurance companies profiting on sick people. Poor people can't pay their electric bills much less eat. Why are we claiming that we're helping other people when we're going to **** over here. Nobody ever gives a crap about anybody until there in someone elses shoes. Its just too much to get into and I'm sure a bunch of repubs are going to bash me but this independant doesn't care. Carry on self centered idiot. Support your dumb *** dubya, and answer my question, what has george bush done for this country?

Greed and Enron type shenanigans. CEO's with their hand in the till and a bunch of other crap. Get over it? Not today. Tomorrow has possibilities. I'm not a commie and you are way out of line. My comfortable lifestyle is due to my own hard work. I would like an example of the stability you speak of. I just disagree with your whole extremely aggressive statement.

HI!

It depends on what corporations you are talking about,
and I personally would be more afraid of the Government
Organizations and the Central bank because they along
with the heads of the Bilderberg very literally want to
take over the world.

They want to chip us ( Real ID Act) , dissolve the US
Constitution ( North American Union ), and basically
begin a military state ( Patriot Act/Habeas Corpus ).
If we allow these things to happen we deserve it.

Please educate yourself, as a fellow Republican...
I would assume you are one yourself please watch
some of these informative documentaries...

I can tell you why first hand.

These corporations are crawling with crooks.......

corruption , corruption, corruption.....thats why...

I am not a commie, I am a christian and have worked in law enforcement.........I could write a book.

Greed and selling their souls for the almighty dollar and recognition.....Like my attorney husband used to say ....Greed will get you every time.

The government may protect them but I know someone that is bigger then they are and can do something about it.....

If they actually adhered to to their own ethical protocols, then most probably wouldn't have an issue with them. No they're not bud.
