if they only want proof of age, your birth certificate will suffice. However, if they require a photo ID then you will need either a driver's license, state ID card, of passport. None of these are free, however. A state ID usually costs about $15.

You can get a photo ID from tghe Dept of motor vehicles. It;s an ID,. not a license. You need your birth dertificate.
This is accepted as a photo ID and usually costs nothing.
