I was working for a lawyer. He had hired me as a "receptionist" or what ever. Then he told me I had to file immigration forms and sign them for him. I knew there was something funny going on. then i received my first pay check or should i say cash.. he didn't pay me with a check but with cash. I definitely knew something was wrong. especially since he has people do all his work for him. He never talks to clients once they have signed an agreement and never meets with them again. He only takes their money. He is a fraud and now he won't pay me for what the hours I worked before i quit. If anyone has any advice for me please let me know what I should do?

A couple of cops were at my house to discuss a situation and one of them looked at an obviously plastic toy medieval sword that was about six feet away and asked,"Is that real?" This isn't the first time I have heard a cop ask such a stupid question. I responded by snickering, "Yeah, it's real....plastic." He seemed offended by my response.

Actions like Iraq, threatening Iran, Illegal wire tapping, Patriot act, signing statements, appointing radical judges, election fraud to insure their continued control, tax reduction in the face of deficit spending, running up huge additions to the national debt, trying to spread democracy to other countries, radical disregard for health care issues, water and air pollution, climate change/global warming, approaching energy issues that will greatly change our way of life and need planning for........

Here we are, how many years after the fact, with Katrina still with its mess in the aftermath in LA and no hope in rebuilding - In CA, with the wildfires, everyone in the US is dialed in and it has become a National disaster before it is even over. What, CA residents homes and lives have a higher value than Katrina victims? I'm confused as to why everyone is so "johnny on the spot" when it comes to CA wildfires but "sleep at the wheel" when it comes to Katrina?

And if it is, is this lack of "beyond-verbal resolve" the reason those countries have YET to bring about their own economic miracle?

Republicans keep telling me how it's "horrible" that so many voted against it...

But I don't hear a lot of "why"?

Is Republican patriotism tied so heavily to the language that they wouldn't love America if they spoke another language?

Uniform must be this seasons and up to date. we receive limited items at 75% off but thats still around £30+ for one piece. after our limit of 75% off runs out (6 pieces @75% off for full-time) we then get a limited amount of 50% off.
surely if we HAVE TO wear a uniform they should supply it?
is there an employees right for this?
Many Thanks!!

Not deporting illegal immigrants will cause taxes to be raised on the middle class. Democrat candidates don't tell you their amnesty plan is expected to cost around $2.5 trillion (congressional testimony)

Not deporting them will also increase crime against Americans. Illegal immigrants create a significant portion of crime in America even while they are only 10% of the population.

Around 27 percent of all federal prisoners are criminal aliens. http://www.gao.gov/htext/d05337r.html ( U.S. government report on a U.S. government website )

Article II of the Constitution does not preclude him from the Presidency or Vice Presidency based on him having served two elected terms. Nobody disputes this, but people get confused with Amendments XII and XXII.

Amendment XII says "no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice President of the United States."

Amendment XXII says "no person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice..."

People believe that he is ineligible for the Vice Presidency because he is ineligible for the Presidency. This is false. He is only ineligible to be elected to the Presidency. Nothing precludes him from succeeding to the nation's highest office. Considering all of this, he is eligible to be elected Vice President and eligible to succeed, but not be elected to, the Presidency.
What are your thoughts on this?

33 Senators Voted Against English as America 's Official Language June 6, 2007
On Wed, 6 Jun 2007 23:35:23 -0500, "Colonel Harry Riley USA (Ret)" wrote:

Senators,

Your vote against an amendment to the Immigration Bill 1348, to make English America's official language is astounding. On D-Day no less when we honor those that sacrificed in order to secure the bedrock character and principles of America . I can only surmise your vote reflects a loyalty to illegal aliens.

I don't much care where you come from, what your religion is, whether you're black, white or some other color, male or female, Democrat, Republican or Independent, but I do care when you're a United States Senator, representing citizens of America and vote against English as the official language of the United States.

Your vote reflects betrayal, political surrender, violates your pledge of allegiance, dishonors historical principle, rejects patriotism, borders on traitorous action and, in my opinion, makes you unfit to serve as a United States Senator... impeachment, recall, or other appropriate action is warrented.

Worse, 4 of you voting against English as America 's official language are presidential candidates: Senator Biden, Senator Clinton, Senator Dodd, and Senator Obama.

Those 4 Senators vying to lead America but won't or don't have the courage to cast a vote in favor of English as America's official language when 91% of American citizens want English officially designated as our language.

This is the second time in the last several months this list of Senators have disgraced themselves as political hacks... unworthy as Senators and certainly unqualifed to serve as President of the United States.

If America is as angry as I am, you will realize a back-lash so stunning it will literally rock you out of your panties... and preferably, totally out of the United States Senate.

The entire immigration bill is a farce... your action only confirms this really isn't about America ; it's about self-serving politics... despicable at best.

Turn a family member in that had outstanding warrants for felony charges? Would it depend on the situation, like for example if they were dangerous? Would you never do it, if not why not? Thanks. Just curious. If you have turned someone in, details would be appreciated. Best answer will be chosen by me and get my point of view on this question.
