I am one hundred and twelve pounds female, and I was man handled by a Bouncer at a night club he pushed me and I hit my head and then he start pulling me by the leg and throw me down the stairs all because I sat on the pool table. Is there anything I can do about this? The only witnessed that was with me was an eighteen year old girl( neighbor) that I decided to accompany to the club because in her own words, her own families didn't seem to care that she was going out alone that night and they didn't wish her a happy birthday either so I felt sorry for her and accompanied her and now she's scared of police and doesn't want to come forward. So the only witnessed that I've got left to come forward is one of the customers that was there on that night. Am I wasting my time to get justice? Is there any sites that I can go to for help? I am in a very emotional state so I would appreciate if you don't answer with any insulting answers thank you.

I'm not familiar with this term at all. I thought deployment typically meant overseas. How would a stateside deployment work? Will I be allowed to accompany him?

I had a buddy that was in an accident on saturday night and now know a little bit more about what happened. He was drinking and clipped a car that was parked on the curb of a red light intersection. He says he didnt know he hit them so he kept driving, and the dude turned out to be an off duty police officer. The guy chased him down, stopped him and called the cops and told them he hit and run. They were gonna charge him with felony hit and run and dwi, but the guy had a change of heart (thank god) and said he did'nt want him to go to jail. They said they did not write anything up except an accident report, no warnings, tickets or anything. Only thing they did was write he had been drinking on the report and that he had to tell his insurance company he had been drinking. He is just wondering if for some reason this can all be changed if he changes his mind and wants to press charges? Can he if they did not cite him a violation or document it at all?

America is now a world superpower, and has been since the end of the Second World War.

Why do British people, In particular, the lower classes and the lumpenproletariat, soak up the ideology and the ways of their American counterparts?
In particular, the ‘gangstas’ and the R&B music

Why is segregation imitated in Britain?

Why do Britain’s love American consumerism?

Why is a British perception of Americans played out? (i.e. lorry drivers having a confederacy flag behind them, cruising along the A30 heading to Truro at 50mph, avatar sunglasses and all?!? joke for the Cornish)

Feel free to post your thoughs on Americanism.

Some of those justices think it's OK to be annonymous, out of the public eye, and still sit in 1 out of 9 seats that make up 1/3 of our entire federal government...What kind of Checks and Balances allows Justices to be elected by the Senate and the president...there is a 4th branch of the government: pissed off Americans

Here's my situation. I am 31 years old. I enlisted in the US Army when I was 18. I got through boot camp and did about two weeks of AIT. I then made the most aggregious decision of my life and went AWOL. As a stupid 18yr old, I decided the Army wasn't for me. Well, bad decision. Needless to say, I was discharged. My discharge was something like "Medical in lieu of Court Martial" and I believe it is under a "General" discharge. I want to join the Navy Reserve. I want to right the wrong I made as a stupid young man. The Navy Recruiter I have been talking with called me today and said "bad news".

Well, I have done some research and have found that waivers can be applied to individuals on a case by case basis. Since this was 12 years ago, is there ANY way possible for me to go in front of either the Discharge Review Board or a high ranking officer in the Navy to request a waiver to reenlist?

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated! I want to serve.
