Is there a time limit for punishing someone for the most vile crime? A friend was abused as a child. Can this person be punished still. Thank you in advance for any reply. God bless you and your family.

It seems that the 2 acts are contradicting each other. UK police shot an innocent man on suspicion of being a terrorist, now they arrest 2 men and charged them for terrorism because they found books on assasination, bomb making. etc. mind you that no guns, or explosives were found nor money that they were asking for. Are we becoming a police state ? Shouldn't we have a special anti-terrorism task force SATTF where the men are specially trained instead of the under equipped incompetent and trigger happy police force that raided the premises prematurely and are now forced to charge them regardless of the scant "evidence".

i recently recieved temp custody of my baby sister who is 13 years old... we recieved word that my mother had asked another sibling to kidnapp her and take her out of state.... the judge told us to call the police if the other sibling came to the hosue after being told to stay away. the sibling came to the door pounding and demanding that the 13 year old pack her things and go with them. we contacted the police and were told that our papers from the judge were worthless and that we could not stop the sibling from taking the 13 year old to our mother. we were told we would be cited for bothering the police if we called again.... the officer even said that no judge has that right to decide who gets custody... what that gell is going on. why even get a judges order if the police wont abide by it?

I am enlisting in the Air Force soon. I'm not quite sure what job i want as of right now. But what I do know is that I want to become an officer and be a pilot. What job would enable me to go to college and also be best to become a pilot later in my military career.

We say we're a free country. A democracy. A land where any person can be anything if they work hard enough and have the talent.

In America, things you can't change about yourself should never be a technicality that prevents you from doing something. If you're not smart enough to be President, or if you were once convicted of a certain crime, or if you're not a citizen then of course you can't run. But should any citizen in good standing be able to run for ANY office including the Presidency?

You could get a great, talented person who came here when they were a week old and they would be prohibited from running. That's just silly.

My suggestion for the law is this: You don't have to be born in the USA to run. You have to be a citizen and at least 25 years old. And you have to have lived in the USA for a minimum of 15 years continuously.

Hey folks, if you don't like someone, then just don't vote for them.

What do you think?

I was reading the Constitution, and this question just sort of popped into my head. I would think that the answer would be somewhere in Article III, but I just can't find it, is it just me?

you weren't home at the time (and no, our neighbors and us all kind of keep to ourselves) and I'm in an apartment complex....here's the thing....I applied for a job within a law enforcement agency (not a cop - civilian position) --- but the agency said they need ME to provide the name, address AND PHONE NUMBER of 3 neighbors. I have been laid off for 7 weeks now and this job is important. Anyway, I left a note on 8 doors telling them my situation, that I needed this information for a job - gave them my phone number, apt. # AND email address and no one responds...WOULD YOU do that to a neighbor -- just ignore it??? What has happened to people anymore? We aren't all close friends but what about human compassion? No one has anything against me or dislikes me for any reason. Could it be they just don't want to hear from cops? Everyone goes thu background checks before moving in so I can't imagine them being afraid. What is your take? Eight and NO answers....

She hates George W. Bush, who has the will and courage to stand up to terroritsts and thwart their desire to murder innocent people. She has tried to sabotage his efforts every chance she gets, just to make herself "look good." Yet she puts Sandy Berger on her campaign advisory staff, who had his security clearance revoked for stealing documents that might expose the government's intelligence failures regarding terrorism during the Clinton administration. Is she really concerned about protecting America from terrorism?

I am in need of advise?
I rented a car for a week while i was on vacation, i declined all of the optional insurance ect as i am insured. The cost was 280 for the time we were on vacation. We returned our car last wednesday, at the time we pulled up and a guy walked around the car to inspect it looked inside real quick, check it the gas was full and printed out a recipt and told us here is your final charge have a great day. Today checking online i noticed they charged my 976.93. I called them right away, i took for every to contact some one, but finaly i got ahold of someone and he told me they found a chip in the cars windsheld and they had to replace the windsheld. He told me that i declined other charges therefore i have to pay the damages. What can i do, i did not notice a chip but those things can be unnoticed. I asked him how do you know that someone did that after i droped it off. I have the recipt showing the final charges 288.30

how do you know what you left behind that is so bad? If 35 percent of the West's transportation requirements were horse and buggy, bycycle only, in which area of the country would you want to live? I know you need to live there first to decide, but if you can imagine a realistic Western U.S., you would realize that you are dealing with property which should never belong in Spirit to the East. This minimum investment is not now obtainable due to your current administration, etc.. It is such a pity for Americans to lose their country because of greed. Good Luck

i think yes, if you say no search for it on google and you will find out that no one has ever overdosed or died from marijuana.Marijuana dose not have any addictive tendencies such as cigarettes. Marijuana dose not kill brain cells like tobacco. There is not a single health risk associated with marijuana. Also many people us it as a pain killer. Marijuana is associated with more arrests than anything else including murders. Many law abiding, tax paying, family oriented citizens use marijuana and many fathers are taken away form their children and families. One reason it is illegal it is illegal is because back when farmers needed land for cotton they blamed marijuana growers.

Someone told me a story about him working at a company and one day all the hispanics were wearing shirts saying "Brown Pride" so the guy asked his boss if it would be cool if he wore a shirt saying white pride and his boss replied "only if you want people to think your racist"
So whats the deal everyone else can be proud of our herotage but when we(white people) say were proud of our heritage were automatically rasicts? We did some pretty awful stuff in the past yeah but so what we don't do it anymore well most of us anyway and I'm pretty sure those minorities did do some pretty nasty shi.t to in the past but no one just talks about it cuz "its racist" and all haha. go figure.
