That's Kirk, not Spock. As a Vulcan Spock must supress his lustful impulses as a requirement of his logically rooted perceptions of all actions and events. Except of course at 7 year intervals during which he is subject the primal instincts of P'anfar, the Vulcan mating cycle. Kirk, on the other hand, banged everything. The fact that she was of a different species was not a factor as he was ultimately beholden to uphold the Federation mantra to go where no man has gone before.

when did that happen? A vulcan only has the drive to mate during Pon Farr. And despite the fact that they are 2 different species, they are still humanoid, that would mean the plumbing would still (more or less) be the same.

Well I'm a human and I was attracted to the Orion slave girls. You need help if you are attracted to geese.

It's logical to procreate and carry on the species, and those Orion slave girls are really cheap. If you know what I mean, nudge nudge, say no more.

Remember that in times not that far gone interracial dating was considered abhorrent.
Clearly by the 23rd century some more of our sexual hangups have been left behind, and for all we know people dating geese may be all the norm.
