When he was Mayor of New York, he brought his paramours home to Gracie Mansion and had sex with them in the room on the other side of his daughters' wall. This sort of disrespect for their feelings, let alone their mother's feelings, might just have left them with some anger.
Of course, it also shows what a classless and dishonest man he is.

Because he's a serial marriage man. He loves em and leaves em. Now wonder his kids hate him. Rudy has NO family values. Say what you will about Bill Clinton, he's still married to the same woman.

If my memory serves me correctly, he made a public spectacle out of his marriage with Donna Hanover...(I think that was her name) and told the press that he was divorcing her, making a mockery out of it.
She had no clue that he was going to divorce her.
Apparently, the bitter divorce had a long term effect on the children.
I don't think he is a very nice person in his personal relationships. My goodness---how could a person, in good conscious, marry your cousin. That is morally wrong in my world.
