Wow, imagine that, Billary spoke on civil rights at the Arkansas High School that brought the Federal Gov. down on Arkansas because of integration.....Wow! I would think that was great if he'd done it at anytime prior to when his coehort -- I mean "betrothed", was running for the office he once held???? hmmmmm, do ya think they're going for the Black vote or the Arkansan vote or the overall US vote??? Kinda funny-The Clintons made a point to run to NY on the peoples money (oh yeah with whitehouse furniture to boot) and have steered clear of the state they not only abandoned, but tried to bankrupt and make fiscally insolvent...whew, I was surprized he would even step foot back in AR territory, Guess thats why he addressed kids, they were either not yet born or too young to know what pains he caused their state.... Seems to me that they could have picked a better person to address civil rights issues than him... Guess it was good political manuevering though.... What do you think

I am interested in going into politics, but how does an average person go about it? I know you need an education, and i am currently attending college, but after that where do you start? I would like to one day run for a congressional seat, but how do i go about starting myself on that goal? Please only serious answers, i do believe people without millions of dollars can and should run for public office, so any advice would be helpful.

to me its the fearmongering he does. it seems they try to invoke way too much fear and paranoia by saying the phrase "war on terror" repeatedly or that "serious dangerous threat". Such words are used for political gain so that people support him. what disgusts you about his presidency the most?

I'm trying to find as much as I can online, but this is in WV. Our online filing site doesn't give the option of smoking in a cafe.

ALL bars in the entire state allow smoking. We haven't been banned from that (yet). Since I can't find the license for sale/use of tobacco.. do I just need one for alcohol? I don't understand.

Western civilization has supressed homosexuality for thousands of years. Now that it has been tolerated for only a few years, are we really so much better than other countries who are just as we were a few years ago?

my friend has not paid the fine for his ticket in Orange County, CA. He went to court and the court clerk told him they could not take his payment for being too late (2 months behind) and that he needed to see a judge. He also got a notice from the court notifiying him there was a civilp-assesment of $300 added to his initial fine of $356 and that the only way to avoid it was to pay the initial fine in full.

I know there a thousand questions about asthma, but this one is a little different. I was diagnosed with asthma as a child, it wasn't a problem as a teenager, and my doctor told me a few years ago that it probably wasn't asthma, but allergies to the family cat.

One recruiter is saying that since it was probably a misdiagnosis, the Army doesn't consider it asthma and I don't have to list it. He said that waivers are almost impossible and I shouldn't risk it.

Another recruiter said I need to list it and get a waiver, and it won't be a problem - the other recruiter is just being lazy.

Who's right?

I want to know what has made the electorate decide that they will chose to vote for another political party at the next federal election.
Is it to do with lies, workchoices, environment?
If you are still intending to be a liberal voter, your answer is not relevant here thankyou.

Why did the Japanese Kamakazee pilots put on their helmets after drinking a shot of Saki before going out on their last ( suicidal ) mission? Were they afraid that they might get injured if they didn't put one on ?

If Iraq, Iran, North Korea (and as of today Zimbabwe and Sudan) are our sworn enemies of 'truth, justice and the American Way'...why are the majority of all spies arrested in this country for espionage acting as Israeli agents? With the exception of Hansen, who spied for the former Soviets, the most recently prolific spies were Ames, Walker, and Pollack, all taking money from Israel.

The conflict is obvious in Iraq, Afghanistan, African countries and also very recently in Scandanavia. The Orthodox-Latin Church controversy is also taking an ugly shape. The Christian US (officially secular) is engaged in rhetoric with Iran, Syria and other states and now France with majority Christian population has also threatened Iran. This tension can turn into an ugly conflict anytime. So the world today sits on a powder keg. The Christian extermination of Jews and other ethnic populations from Europe during WW II are all very recent history with active backing of Christian church. Now anti-Semitism is again rising in Europe and Neo Nazi Christians are targeting other racial, ethnic groups. After 9/11, irregardless of whether it was an American-Christian conspiracy or an actual terror attack, has given cannon fodder to the church to propagandize and racially motivated and fundamentalist people have responded with great zeal.

It is far more likely to be an "inside job." From a news report (via the Wikipedia article @ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2001_anthrax_attacks#Anthrax_attack_bug_.22identical.22_to_army_strain_report ):

"The DNA sequence of the anthrax sent through the US mail in 2001 has been revealed and confirms suspicions that the bacteria originally came from a US military laboratory. The data released uses codenames for the reference strains against which the attack strain was compared. The two reference strains that appear identical to the attack strain most likely originated at the US Army Medical Research Institute for Infectious Diseases at Fort Detrick (USAMRIID), Maryland. The new work also shows that substantial genetic differences can emerge in two samples of an anthrax culture separated for only three years. This means the attacker's anthrax was not separated from its ancestors at USAMRIID for many generations."
