The conflict is obvious in Iraq, Afghanistan, African countries and also very recently in Scandanavia. The Orthodox-Latin Church controversy is also taking an ugly shape. The Christian US (officially secular) is engaged in rhetoric with Iran, Syria and other states and now France with majority Christian population has also threatened Iran. This tension can turn into an ugly conflict anytime. So the world today sits on a powder keg. The Christian extermination of Jews and other ethnic populations from Europe during WW II are all very recent history with active backing of Christian church. Now anti-Semitism is again rising in Europe and Neo Nazi Christians are targeting other racial, ethnic groups. After 9/11, irregardless of whether it was an American-Christian conspiracy or an actual terror attack, has given cannon fodder to the church to propagandize and racially motivated and fundamentalist people have responded with great zeal.

The problem has and will always be as long as white people continue to run around with their head stuck up their A@*! It is the Western world's foreign policy agenda that creates these issues. Christians committed genocide against Africans and African Americans and Secular German (West once again) committed genocide against the Jews, westerners once again killed off the indigenous population of the Americas, and now the Israeli's who think their honorary white people are committing genocide against the palestinians, rawandans commit genocide against themselves based on ideas promoted by the belguim and germany that one group was better than the other during colonialism. Yeah I'm starting to get the picture I don't blame it on the religion, I blame it on sick white people...enough said!

It's not Islam vs. Christianity.
The perception among Muslims that this is a religious issue is a big part of the problem.
The issues in the middle east are secular issues and Muslims need to put their religious beliefs aside long enough to deal with them.

Its not an Islam Vs. Christianity war. Its RADICAL ISLAM. Its not against any "one" country. Thats why this war is ungodly difficult to get support for, theres never been another war like this.

I don't know where your brand of propaganda spit out from, but there is no war between Christian and Islam. There IS a war between Islam and those who would pervert it. since MOST Muslims are being killed by pseudo-MUSLIMS, not CHRISTIANS, AMERICANS, OR ANYONE ELSE. Your right. I believe that EXTREMISTS from both Christianity and Muslim religions are equally responsible for this present crisis. Extremist Christians are responsible of making lewd racist comments, ridiculous cartoons of Prophet Mohammad and getting under the skin of the Muslims. Extremist Muslims are responsible for being hot-headed, a bit stubborn at times and for responding to fire with fire ! They need to stop giving so much importance to a bunch of individuals and their personal opinions !
