-viding health care for the united states? sounds like a social program to me. seems a shame to ignore your own country over people who basically don't like americans. when libs talk about government sponsored health care as a right for all americans, why is that greeted with so much animosity? maybe if cons thought that being deprived of health care was a terrorist conspiracy, then they could be patriotic and get behind it?

5 months of jail for putting the lives of countless soldiers at risk thanks to his lies?

5 months for treason?

5 months for defaming the military and inflaming violence?

Can any one justify this light sentence? Or am I justified in finding this absolutely ridiculous?

The way I see it, terrorism is largely caused by extreme relgious devotion. What's the best way to dilute relgious devotion? Yep that's right, PORN. I say we drop crate after crate of porn, whiskey, ky jelly, coca-cola and twinkies all over Baghdad. Before you know it Iraq will look just like America and we'll have a fully functioning democracy in the middle east. True democracy is about giving the people what they want. Not giving people what you want them to want.

Over the course of the last year, many innocent people have been killed at the hands of illegal aliens who believe they can come to our country, live here and do whatever they please. Obviously, this applies to only a small percent of the illegal population, but most of these crimes are done in "sanctuary cities," cities with governments who do not report illegal criminals.
Just this past week, a good hardworking Phoenix police officer with a wife and kids tried to stop an illegal alien with a revolver from getting to a schoolyard full of children. He was shot and killed. This criminal I believe had a record.
The solution to this problem is simple: If a criminal who is illegally here is found to be such by the police, ICE is to be alerted within 48 hours, and the criminals name will be entered into a data base, so that if he comes back here again (because clearly we can't secure our own borders), cities know about him. Am I right?

a korea-like presence of 55,000 troops would cost aboutt 25 billion a year in a "combat" scenerio similar to the current mission!!!

presisident bush likened america's future in iraq to the peacekeeping role u.s. troops play in south korea, where they have been stationed for some five decades!!!

congress has already appropriated $414 billion for the iraq mission, with another $200 billion to be required additionally
for the budget year beginning oct.1.

the bush administration has been trying to hide the cost of this war every step of the way!!!

"now the president is considering a significant ongoing presence iraq, long after he leaves office"!!!

I have filed a domestic abuse restraining order and it is just temporary right now. He got served already and i needed to let him know of a very important package i mailed him. Am i violating my OWN order against him by contacting his friends or by having my friend call him for me? I read over the order and saw that it didn't mention anything about ME having no contact etc. It just said that if i invite contact he still has to obey the order. I understand that. But Can i violate my OWN order? I need him to know the package is VERY important and he needs to watch out for it due to our neighbors "taking" our packages! I called him once and hung up, and then had my friend call to tell him i needed to talk. He told her it goes both ways and he doesn't want to go to jail for talking to me. Is this right? Am i ok ,just relaying messages to him then w/o actually talkin to him?

i believe in social democracy.
i believe in worker's rights.
i believe that what bush has done for this country is wrong.
i believe the iraq war was lost from the start, and publically denounced it from 2003 til present.
i don't believe in corporate welfare.
i believe there are more important things than boosting soldiers' morale. namely, the united states' citizens' morale.

don't like it?

If a person is arrested have held before and during his trial and then acquitted should the state compensate him for his time in prison? During that time he probably lost his job and acquired tons of legal and other bills.

Does it change your answer if the person is proven not guilty, like with DNA?
