Well, I have ideals that are concurrent with democracy, and one of them is open-mindedness. I want to discuss things with people and try to gain and understanding of them and what they want and be honest. These ideals are shared with people of all kinds, but mainly those who truly believe in democracy. When It comes to voting, I simply look at who has the plan that I believe is best for myself and the rest of the nation. I don't care what party they're from. I'll vote Green if i think it is the right thing to do. So in a way, I guess I am a democrat for life, but I do think that lots of republicans are good people with something to say.

Nope. I voted Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Gore.
Who can possibly be Lib or Con on EVERY issue? My vote depends on the main issues of the day. I don't agree with everything of either party.

I probably am even though when I was in college I voted differently nationally. I also take a hard look at both parties in local elections since I usually dislike the Republican candidates in my local county and city.
