With the rebirth of the Civil Rights Movement, I am inclined to do more to foster strength in awareness. Please share with me stories that the media dropped.
I live in Portland, Oregon, which is 70% liberal, though injustice occurs here too. My own tribute is to Kendra James. She was shot to death by the Portland Police Department for a traffic violation. I want to represent more that Black & White. No matter the ethnicity of your story, it counts! Please let it count here. I look forward to hearing from all who reply. Please include facts and resources. My ultimate plan is to design a graphic t-shirt that supports civil rights and includes the names of all who have been lost within "the system". Again, please be as specific as possible so I can research and include the loved one with all details and honesty.

All are Welcome.

Peace is the reason,
Be love

OK, the president is in charge of the military. I'm not sexist or any thing, but I think that the president is the only one one job where we need a man. The woman was always famine. So in times of war, will the female president make the decision to agree?

i.e. Hilary Clinton- completely against war, and is going into a war position.

YOU want to a woman (Hilary) into a position where 75% of the time they are in war, or preparing, or across seas in diplomat.
Do you want to put this woman in command of the biggest and greatest Navy, Army, Airforce, etc. in the whole world.

I don't.

I think it is absolutely disgusting that this university would give this man who hates America and would nuke us at any chance he got a chance to speak at a UNIVERSITY....to college students! It makes me so angry.

The Secret Service has a mandate to investigate the backgrounds of every one who comes in close contact with such high ranking politicians. Could it be possible that the politician is a crook, just like her husband? After all, he also had some shady dealings.

Do the people that believe in that statement base that on recent history or do they base it on what their leader tells them?

Did the Islamists hate the Soviets for their freedoms when they were invading Afghanistan? Were they jealous for their central government and Marxist ideas?

They hate us for our foreign policy, the same way those people hated the Soviet foreign policy of imperialism...

Here it is:

Hello thing55000,
You have received a message from another user!

From: vitalsign77

Subject: Look here you ******* ****

Message: You are ******* with the wrong ****** whore, you report me one more time on yahoo and i will tear your ******* heart out and choke your kids to death with it.

~*~

Strong stuff, eh, especially the bit about feeding my asterisks to my children. The asterisks came with the email, don't know if it was him or Yahoo's own filters.

The 'Question' was a solicitaion for a female to join him and his slave-woman for sex. I said I was reporting him for advertising, and got this message after the question was deleted.

Other emails I receive (even from the guys in Women's Studies who can be so naughty) have always been courteous, even in serious disagreement!

The question was deleted promptly, which shows that Yahoo's system does work. I've sent them a copy of this too, for giggles (and action)!

Guess I'm not his type!

Okay so Im 16 and i really dont keep up with current events, so ..I just wanted to kow more about the upcoming elections. I have some questions, can their only be one candidate per party? For example Obama and Clinton are both democrats right? Are they just nominees for the democratic party or are they are already official candidates for the presidency? And do you know what issues do they stand for? Who would u vote for? ..I know so many questions but if u can explain i will really appreciate it.

This guy has been hired at the hotel where I work as security and he was let go for sexual harassment from a previous position. I know this because I am friends with his former co-workers and am friends with a friend whos friend was the one who was sexually harassed. I've kept my mouth shut and the guy doesn't know that I know (as far as I know because he didn;t know me until we inroduussed ourselves). He used to be a DJ at a bar and that's how I know who he is. Should I let mangment know or just let his go.

btw, what he did was take off a girl panties at the bar while she passed out on the stairs in the bar. He wasn't charged but just fired. I heard this long before he was hired at my work place through my friends.

What should I do?

What event in this country, what savage attack upon your dying liberties, would propell you to revolt? What if the Supreme Court overturned the not guilty verdict of a jury and sent a man to prison for life? Where is the line in the sand?

The founding fathers came to the line in the sand, and they fought back with everything they had. In peace friend, enemies in war, to quote the Declaration of Independence. As I read through it I see that they endured much hardship to say the least but, in the end they raised up arms against the Crown. What is the fanal hardship for you? When would you set down your pen for good?
