Very few die from mirijuana compared to alcohol--and pot smokers are certainly lessdangerous to people around them.

That doesn't mean marijuana is "good"--just that its been demonized to the point of the absurd.

Alcohol is much more dangerous both while under the influence and the long term.

Marijuana has no where near as many adverse health affects than alcohol.

You can't overdose on marijuana. It is not possible believe me I tried to see if it can happen and it doesn't work, and it's not addicting.

I actually think they are equally dangerous if used in an irresponsible way. I believe marijuana should be legalized but wont be due to the difficulty the government would have in regulating it. How do you regulate something that literally everyone can grow themselves? At least alcohol is a little more difficult to make so people would rather just buy it.

Neither is dangerous. The person who is using them can be dangerous. A person sitting at home drinking, not bothering a soul is not dangerous. It is only dangerous when some idiot decides they want to drive a 2000 lb vehicle while intoxicated!

Of course alcohol is more dangerous. I remember a drug and alcohol class in college that stated that the most violent of drugs is alcohol.

Everyone knows mean drunks but does anyone know any mean potheads?

Studies have shown that Marijuana is not physically addictive - where alcohol is. Big difference.

Ah....so because alcohol is more dangerous, we should legalize marijuana? Great logic!

In moderation and used responsibly, neither drug is dangerous - unfortunately, moderation and responsibility are not the hallmarks of drunks and potheads.
