Is anti-crime stance, racism?
Since when has criminal become a race?
What about Affirmative action? Is it racist to GIVE a job based on race? Do minority children starve faster? does the minority homeowner's bills come more often?
What about regional idiomatic acceptance? ("black-english", bilingual teaching) Is it that these other groups cannot learn, adapt and apply what is taught?

It seems to me that the addage of "When in Rome, do as the Romans do" is the best way to see things here.
Employment? First best qualified come, first best qualified served.
Schooling? America is, worldwide, listed and accepted as an English-speaking country.
You will notice, by their absence, that the Asain population NEVER wants bilingual teacers, they see it as a breech of HONOR to not learn english!
As for crime, ALL PEOPLE SHOULD BE AGAINST IT-IN ALL FORMS EVEN ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.
All criminals have sob stories as to WHY it's not their fault!

Okay, so I got a ticket at 4:00 am in fresno on the highway, the cop said I was going 101 mph, I have no tickets on record. So it turned out that I got a notice in the mail to show up in court by October 1, tomorrow happens to be the only day I can go there. Then, a month later I got a bail amount sent in the mail for 750 dollars. Its just a regular speeding ticket too. I'm 22 years old. No record. Do I have to go to court if I pay the 750? If not, should I go to fight it tomorrow, even though it is such a long drive, 250 miles to be exact, and I have work tomorrow night and I have to leave at like 3 am to get there by 8am.

I think the people who support it. This gives big business an unending supply of basically what amounts to slave labor, they can pay them pittiful wages with no benefits and who are they going to tell? No one for fear that they will be deported. It also allows drug smugglers, and coyotes (trafficers in humans) to keep a brisque business. How humanitarian of them.

my childs father is trying to take me to court because he claims that i violated a visitation order and he had no idea about my childs whereabouts, which is a lie, but anyway can anyone tell me what rights dose a man have who refuses to financially take care of his child and when visiting makes child self esteem differ by telling them they need to exercise because he dosen't want them to be fat, now mind u this child is not fat or dose not have an ounce of body fat on her, i think that he is crazy....... making the child develope a early complex about themself, and dont want to communicate or compromise with the mother about things concerning the child. his whereabouts is confidential, so how can he get mad about visitation when he dont do anything for this child that is positive? they pg (paternal grandmother), and father spoil child so when she comes home she is disobedient and acts like she dosent want to be home. how can i get this character out of my and childs life, any advice?

I am about to have my lawyer try to settle a car accident case for me. i am the plaintiff. My question is: my lawyer told me that the medical bills are in the high teens. i want to know, is this the amount i would be awarded? Or do I also stand the chance to recover pain and suffering? How much is usual in a case like this where the injuries and med bills totaled in the high teens? is there a "standard" way to determine what the defendants might place as an offer on the table?
thanks

and berating the Dems for not being able to get the US out of Iraq as OBL wants, putting Dems and OBL on the same side of that issue; insuring that the Dems won't keep pushing for that...... JUST as General Petraus (sp?) reports to Congress that all is going well...we just need a little more time. Oh MY, isn't that just an amazing coincidence of timing? What a bunch of right wing, pro war, misguided BS. For six years the most amazing military in history can't find one guy running around the hills of Pakistan....BS. So where do you suppose he is? How 'bout Langley, Va. making tapes for his boss' JUST when they need a political boost. If you can't see what's happening, you're a moron!

Direct democracy used to be the big thing of ancient city-states, but then monarchy became the favored mode of government during the Middle Ages. Now the majority of nations in the world are republics. So in keeping with this trend, any chance that we will see the world switch from republics to another "fad" form of government? If so, when and what will it be?

I have a small clothing boutique in Oklahoma. It was burlarized Sat night and approx 50,000 in clothes stolen.

They got in by a vacant unit that was next to me. The back doors of the vacant unit were unlocked, they entered the unit and broke through the wall onto my side.

Police reports were made and my landlord told me to claim the wall on my insurance b/c his deductibles were too high.

Also, he had two other shopping centers that were broken into the same night.

For some reason my insurance excludes theft. I, know, I am an idiot, please dont make fun of me about that. Im already very upset. I was never told and didnt read the book of policies I was given.

Is my landlord at any fault at all? Since they did not brake in through a door or window but from the wall of one of his unlocked units.

Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.

If you need any additional details I will be checking all night.
